Appreciated.

My favorite artist of all time.

Her Live album (2011) was fantastic all throughout.

My favorite artist to ever walk this earth. You literally can't tell me NOTHING about Sade, she has never made a bad song. There are 4 artist where slander of their names will result in me discontinuing my relationship with you (Sade, MJ, Tupac, Nas).

Still don't know if I like Love Deluxe or Promise more

You already know what time it is. :pimp: :pimp:

I'd like to start by saying that Sade isn't an artist--they're a band. It's obvious why we all think that and are drawn to Ms. Adu. But overlooking the contributions of Stuart, Paul and Andrew would be criminal. Without them, Sade isn't Sade.

Anyways, I gotta say my favorite album is Stronger Than Pride. The grooves on that joint just do it for me. It's a tough call because they don't have a bad album, but this one stands out for me. Lovers Rock is up there too.

If any of you dudes have a chance to see them (if they ever tour again), DO IT. The band is ridiculously tight in their live show and Sade herself always puts on a good show. I was fortunate enough to see them twice on the Soldier of Love tour. Scored 2nd row seats for the wife and I in Lousiville and man, what an experience. Even my wife was enamored with how fly Sade looked at 52. Flawless.

Hey me too.  The vocals are stronger on Diamond Life and Promise but I think this one sounds the most diverse without being all over the place.  It would seem that the feels are the strongest on Love Deluxe but that's just my opinion.  I could be wrong but I think that Sade is that kinda great music that transcends cultural barriers whether it's race, socioeconomic strata or whatever else anyone could think of.  Obviously there are a lot more and this might not seem that significant but it's something that always struck me.  Anyways I doubt they're ever gonna go on tour again : ( .  I thought the same thing like 10 years ago but I think the touring is done now.

^ I think they'll hit the road again should a new album come out. They say that Sade herself basically controls everything--so when she calls them up and is ready to record, the guys pretty much put life on pause. The problem is that she's perfectly content with not being in the spotlight (which really isn't a problem and is part of why I admire the band as a whole). But should she get the writing/singing bug again, I can definitely see them back on the road. She's said that the thought of touring makes her cringe, but once she's out there doing it again it's like she never missed a beat.

I didn't think we'd see them again after Lovers Rock, but true to form, they release an album after damn near an eternity away from the spotlight. We're probably right on schedule for a new album in 2019 lol.

One of my favorite artist/bands/groups of all time. I Will Be Your Friend and Cherry Pie are my 2 of my all time favorites by her. :pimp:

Not to plug my own **** but I even did a mixtape of some beats to some stuff a few months back. Here's a link if you want to check it out, or anyone for that matter

Grew up on the Diamond Life album and I have never tired of it to this day. Have been listening to Promise recently. Was strange because I read a NYT article about "ghosting" people and I immediately thought about the song "Maureen" off that album.

Best live act I've ever seen. Favorite band, favorite singer. I was at her last concert and specifically the one that was taped for her DVD. If y'all ever needed help with the buns, cop that DVD. Let it play, she'll be mesmerized for about 30 minutes but just play it cool your time will come :pimp:

Got the yambs multiple times simply because I was bumping Sade in the whip or the crib :smokin

Think E-40's son Droop-E did an album with all Sade samples also. They are one of the most timeless acts in that they appeal to the younger generation as well as our parents'.

I don't even know what Droop-E sounds like, but I will check that out solely cause of those samples

My parents raised me on Sade tapes/CDs.

Very grateful to them. The band should bless the fans with another album before it's all done and over.

Her music is so soothing. Can put you to sleep. Lay on the beach and have the stereo playing while you look far into the ocean.
