Japan manufactures 2, goes up 2-0

Penn puts up 10 in the bottom of the 2nd, including a grand slam and a 3-run shot. :wow:

Down 10-2, Japan gets a couple on, then hits a 3-run shot... then a solo... then ANOTHER solo (back 2 back 2 back)... currently down 10-7 with runners on 1st & 2nd, 1 out.

Double up the middle scores the 2 on base, 10-9.

I didnt like that PA team simply because of their coach.

Dude did no teaching to those kids about hitting. Some of those leg kicks are flat out horrible idc how old you are. At that level still developing, you dont need that outrageous leg kick. Most high level players have leg kicks to slow down their timing/hands, as a kid i highly doubt you need that especially at 46 feet

That one kid on PA #16 kid was already swinging before his foot was down, most of em were like that other than him. When they faced someone throwing gas they were stupid late on the ball, they were already late to begin with.

I know most of these teams are coached by dads with basic knowledge of baseball, but that ish just bugged the hell out of me. Japan & Chines-Taipae dominate because their coaches teach baseball not "hit it as far as you can"




Little league also needs to make those fields bigger. Yeah they moved it back like 25 feet from 5-6 years ago but a 225 fence ALL the way around? Cmon .. and all those oppo homeruns from these lil kids on HALF swings with no follow thru :smh:






But all in all the resiliency of Japan to come back was crazy. That was a good championship game. Hopefully theres no cheating controversy again, seems like there is somethin every year. Was actually happy to see no girls out there as well, that Mo'ne stuff last year was OD annoying

The catcher and the starting pitcher have been jerks the whole game.

Hopefully NY can get these last 3 outs south Korea has been extremely cocky since the first pitch. As a coach myself I need NY to get this W so I could show my kids :lol:
