Adidas TUBULAR Thread

Surprisingly all my NMD's shipped from this past weekend yesterday. I hope it's the same case for the Dooms.

My Black dooms just shipped from adidas. Expected ship time 4-7 days.
 
Dang they've actually been delivered today I just got the email from adidas

Update:

My black doom just got dropped off at my front door. Tried them on real quick and I'm digging them. Also i don't see how you guys could go down .5 in these. There is a little room but like the PK tubular X there is that plastic piece up front where if your foot is underneath it your toes will feel like someone is standing on them all day.

Just got my black pair in as well. For what it's worth they fit considerably smaller (almost feels like a full size) than the special forces. Was nervous I'd need a .5 size smaller but if anything may need to go up.

Still waiting on my Black PKs to come in but I have the Special Forces, and I feel like the sizing might be similar. The SFs also have this like plastic/fuse overlay at the front along your toes, which definitely feels like it presses on your toes. I had the opportunity to try the SFs on in my true size and 0.5 down, and found that 0.5 down was way too small. This is why I was hesitant to believe all the reports saying "size at least 0.5 down for PK Dooms, they run big". Glad I ordered TTS for these but I guess once I have them in hand I will know for sure.


I have both a TTS and a 0.5 down pair coming in so there's a bit less worry, but do you think 0.5 up might have provided an even better fit? Lol.

Honestly, no. It'll just be kinda floppy then. The plastic tab is a lot less stiff than the PK tubular X so they are steadily improving on that. I hope they find a way to make that toe cap soft and stretchy like the rest of the shoe one day.

I'm curious to see what your experience will be. Like I said, don't know if they actually run smaller or if it's the difference between the plastic being on the inside vs outside but they feel VERY different than the SFs.
