Ashanti was blowing up while Ja was going down. She had three straight platinum albums until the FBI. Murder Inc had more to do with the FBI and then Def Jam/Universal backing away. She then wanted to distance herself from it, and had to wait several years to release new music. By then she was done.

Stalley would have flopped on any label. He's not that type of artist. Gunplay not doing well has more to do with a reflection on the label. As a label, MMG doesn't seem that tight. And one thing it's because they're on different labels, so they're marketed differently. Still it would be nice if they would promote each other more. Go out on tour together. Nobody considered that an L for Gunplay. He was one guy taking on several. That took heart. That was Gunplay going Gunplay. Crazy is as crazy does.

Ross didn't handle the Meek thing well though. From whoever sent that post out wrong, to not giving out good advice. To being silent like Meek. He needed to be a leader. It seemed like he distanced himself from the coldness.

Foreclosures is CRAZY.....why Rozay don't just F with Justice League on most of his production is mind boggling to me.

Tall for me amped to give this a listen. Like many I didn't even listen to hood billionaire. Ross obviously is trying to make sure he and his brand stay relevant.
