God Forgives I Don't
Mastermind/Hood Billionaire

I'm in the minority but I don't like deeper than rap

he was headed the right way but teflon don was the first album where he fully got it right

my fav album is actually mastermind, nice mix of different sounds but it all fits together

I didn't include the mixtapes in my list

I honestly haven't heard Ross since Teflon don. That album was amazing, I know right after that he dropped something that was a snooze fest and pretty much I haven't checked for him since

Deeper than Rap is Ross' apex lyrically and production wise. Teflon Don is probably his apex commercially.

Bought Black Market earlier, nice smooth *** album for the most part. This basically has the soul that GFID was lacking. Ross is spitting and there's a lot of really nice production on here. Silk Road, Smile Mama Smile, Dope ****, Very Best and Crocodile Python are vintage smooth Ross. Would have to agree with whoever mentioned about the sequencing though. Smile Mama Smile is the type of song that would normally be near the end of an album, and would have been the perfect closer. But it seemed like Ross set up all the more content-driven and smooth production from songs 1-9 (besides the two D.Rich beats), and the more radio sounding soft songs near the end. Really, if you switched Very Best and Color Money, this would basically be 2 EPs fused into 1 album. Sorry, DOPE, Peace Sign, and Can't Say No are all tailor made radio songs.

I wasn't even messin with Ross like that till Deeper Than Rap. From Trilla to Deeper Than Rap he sounds like a totally different rapper. Flow, lyrics, everything.

Deeper Than Rap
Teflon Don
Black Dollar
Black Market
Rich Forever
GFID(slept on)

Luca brasi my ****nbut its not better then rich forever. Dc2 not better them dc1 and trap god not better then trap back let alone rich forever. Its a top 10 mixtape in the last 5 years.

Gfid is underrated tho. After going back and listening, I think people expected way better because of how good rich forever was. The joint with neyo so smooth, Amsterdam is one of my favorite Ross songs, 911, hold me back, diced pineapples, pirates, Jesus piece. He had some joints on there.

Hell naw

I knee rich forever was the truth when my 24 year old white supervisor say that's one of his all time favorite mix tapes. And this dude is one of them hip hop heads who bang tribe and illmatic weekly. U bias towards renzel tho u still say jeezy is ahead of him and Gucci in that lane.
