Should Snoop Dogg thank Master P for his career ?

I kinda think so. Doggystyle was superb. Doggfather was not up to par with it. He probably would have been like Kurupt,Daz,Nate Dogg stuck on the row. Around this time the South is being noticed. No Limit being the most known. Yeah Cash Money was there, but it was like a bootleg No Limit at the time. What do you think ?

Snoop himself says No Limit saved his career but I disagree.
Someone would have signed him, still had post death row hype and his flow and charisma would have carried him.

ComptonPrince is like NikeTalk's very own Narduar.

Tell us the stories fam.
Several Bloods wanted to body Snoop in the 90s and had chances too Suge called em off tho

Not to mention Snoop Murder case he got him off on if that happen today Snoop would have got at least 20+

I actually prefer "The Doggfather" > "Doggystyle".

Blasphemy

No Limit may have contributed to his longevity, but he was already cemented in the game by the time he reached that point. He really didn't need to add anything else to his catalog.

Speaking of Snoop and No Limit, is any of his albums under them worth listening to? Out of the 3 he dropped, which would yall say is the best?

U realize he only had 2 albums when he joined NL right? And 1 was average at best

It's not like Snoop was a FA and signed to NL he was sold to Master P Suge could have just let him sit on DR until he got out the pen.

All Master P did was buy him for whatever Suge wanted for him

I actually think I 3 were good, but I'd probably say No Limit Top Dogg was the best one (the one w/ B Please and Down 4 My ******). Both that one and Last Meal were more traditional Westcoast Snoop, while Da Game Is To Be Sold was a regular No Limit-sounding album.

Also, after taking a look at Snoop's whole catalog, I haven't really paid attention to him since Blue Carpet Treatment

25 years in the Game and only 2 Good albums IMO

No Limit Top Dogg is a good album but doesn't really sound like No Limit.

Don't Tell is some of DJ Quik's best work
