We're over here waxing poetic about players we didn't even have the chance to draft.

Curry is wonderful, but he's not a Knick. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. Oh well.

Not even like we passed him up, dude was gone before us. Might as well just stick to complaining about drafting Frederic Weiss instead of Ron Artest.

If the spurs cut Jimmer why in the F would we think he would succeed with us?  If PoP can't  do anything for you then you might as well just give it up.

How the Hell did Jimmer Fredette NOT get a spot on the Spurs? It's pretty alarming to hear he got cut, considering he's a 3-pt specialist. Makes me assume he must've been AWFUL on the defensive side of the ball or just didn't understand the offense.

Spurs don't even run a complex offense either

forgot where it was, but there was an article criticizing fredette's "work ethic," which basically is the reason he got cut. capable player, but apparently doesn't put as much into practice and all that as the powers that be think he should

thats the problem with a lot of players that have talent, but a slight disadvantage. jimmer doesnt have a position really. he doesnt have the skills to be an NBA pg and is too small to be a sg. instead of working on becoming a pg, he doesnt put in the effort. its a shame really. bc thats what happened to mike beasely too. tweeners have the hardest time making the leauge. mainly due to lack of work ethic.

going to the game tonight. really just want it to be a close game that's entertaining. not expecting a W but dont get embarrassed.

Tony & Manu should be easier to guard then Wall & Beal.

Kawhi is gonna be a problem :x

this team looks like a decent squad who will play hard and be competitive... my coworker flaked on me on the laker game but still contemplating if i should go by myself... another reason im holding out too is there might a better game cavs, clippers or gsw... i might just go to the laker game though

San Antonio's ball movement is what I'm scared of more than anything. Most of their perimeter guys might be older but they still know how to move the ball.

Kiwi has been doing quite well on the offensive end too. He had KD looking mortal in their first encounter. Melo has to just keep in the flow of the offense.

The big men have to be ready to step out and contest the mid range shots.

I think we can get this though. We're still working out the kinks but they seem game to rise to the challenge.

Hopefully that D-League experience shapes him up or ship him out

Kawhi's offense has looked a lot better this season

other guys gotta step up cause Melo's not gonna be able to do what he does with Kawhi shadowing him

would've been traded for melo
this

and if he wasn't i doubt he develops into what he is today
Y'all gotta stop saying this. You don't know that. Like, at all. We've needed a quality young point since forever. That's why we were targeting him in the first place. Also, a player's development is 90% what he puts forth. To think he wouldn't have become a great player simply by virtue of playing for another team is ridiculous.

Anyways, I'm happy with what I've seen from this team so far. As I said earlier, we'll see a lot more wins this year purely off hustle and defense. My isht list is currently comprised of one player, Jose Calderon. He's a defensive sieve and on offense he doesn't really galvanize the team. Kinda just out there going with the flow. Grant and Galloway both seem like better options.

As for KP, I gotta say I don't know if I like the way we've used him so far. I'd like to see him be more of a focal point when he's in. Maybe some action in the high post. Currently all we seem to have for him is pick n pop outside the arch and aimless wandering.
