Pls learn to relax after a loss & take what you can from it. We played great up until we got out scored in the 4th. You can come to expect that from a young team. But the good thing is that we're able to compete. Guys are playing hard. I don't have any beef w/ Melo. He missed half of a season, he has to get his groove back. I feel like things will start clicking soon. Just relax

the sky isn't falling because we lost to the Hawks, Spurs, & Cavs

we eventually have to turn these "moral victories" into actual wins tho

There will be a lot of moral victories playing elite teams this early in the season. So get used to it.

I was joking but Melo does need a 2nd scorer, reliable scorer to take some of the pressure off until he gets his legs underneath him. His shot looks off to me because he isn't getting lift that he needs, and he is still playing his way back into shape. Where's Beno when you need him. It's still too early though, give through December and I think they'll be hitting on all cylinders.

exactly. I do not have high expectations for this season. I'm just happy we finally get a much needed refresh. All we need to do is to build from there.

November is a brutal month, we just have to keep our heads above water and steal W's where we can while beating the likes of the Lakers and Hornets.

yep.

let's not give carmelo a pass though. he's had time to recover. his shot should be better. he should be making shots

Being out of shape can definitely affect style of play but like I said earlier, Melo's rusty and is forcing the action instead of just letting come with time. So he does need time to find himself but that doesn't excuse some of the bad shots. Paul George is doing the same thing, forcing shots in an attempt to find rhythm.

I'll give him some time though. Once he gets himself straight I think he'll calm down a bit.

i gave Fisher a pass last season because the roster was awful but dude's looking funny in the light

i'll give fisher some more time to find a rhythm with this team. he's got a completely new roster so hopefully he's just feeling things out and quickly makes the needed adjustments. d will and grant need at least 20 to 25 mpg.

Fisher is easily the worst coach we had in the past 10 years. Dude is ******* clueless. Yea we was trash last year but he still stunk at in game adjustments and rotations. Dude literally coaches the complete opposite of how he played. Like a dumbass

Hold on

Hold on

You think he's worse than Sn?

Nah b

Stayed up again late last night to watch the game. I really thought the Knicks played very well for 3.5 quarters, but there were too many mistakes we made down the stretch which debilitated us from getting a win. Fisher is obviously still learning how to coach, but I don't think the onus falls entirely on his shoulders. A lot of these top tier coaches have very strong supporting staffs on their side. I think the Knicks organization just isn't there yet.

I was very impressed with what Porzee's performance. Getting into foul trouble didn't help up, but it was good to see the other team taking notice of Porzee's foul woes and trying to get him out of the game. He held his own against a very formidable Cavaliers front court. Melo had a solid game as well. I know people are going to talk about him only scoring 17, but considering he's coming back from knee surgery and is only 5-6 games in after 8 months of rust was impressive.

Quotes from the fiance about the game last night:
- "Why is the Spaniard playing again when he had played so poorly the night before?"
- "Is he (Caldo) purposely letting his man get past him so the taller guys can guard them?"
- "Lebron James needs to shave that ugly mustache. He looks like a 70's porn star."
- "Why is the Spaniard playing at the end of the game? They (Knicks) can still win!"
- "The guy with the gold-tipped dreads played pretty well. Why isn't the coach playing him more?"
- "Melo seems to be settling for those long shots too much. He should do what LeBron does and get closer to the basket."
- "The coach (Fisher) looks like he has no idea what he's doing."

If my fiance notices all this stuff we're def. in trouble guys. I told her I predicted us getting 32-35 wins and she said she's not so sure about that. We stayed up late to watch the Warriors game (She's a huge Dubs fans and from The Bay). Why can't we run an offense like them? :frown:
