Exactly. Like i really feel if we had a better leader in that "star" spot, Porzingis would be killing it harder right now.
That bad energy rubs off. I pay attention closely to those things and i seen Porzingis with uncomfortable facial expressions many times this season when Melo is involved.
Doesnt help when Fisher is screwing up the lineups but Melo is gonna stunt Porzingis growth, although i dont think it will matter. Kristapis is the goods.

its obvious that fishers one of those "im gonna stick with my guys" kind of coaches. i believe this to be very detrimental to both the success of the team and also the development of our young players. i mean, afflalo will be back soon enough, so that means sasha is gonna sit. but his substitutions are seriously bizzare. if anyone could try to make sense of em, either statistically or analytically, im all ears. besides melos slow start, i think hes the biggest reason we lost the last couple games.

Let's not act like Melo wasn't still our best player tonight. Fisher just needs to get smarter. Plays lance for no reason doesn't play dwill enough takes out oquinn when he's having his way. Puts in Lopez last minute cold after forgetting about him on bench. Cleanthony can't be any worse than Sasha or Thomas

To be fair I think Lance played good tonight overall.
Alot of times O'Quinn catches the ball and turns it over or doesnt know what to do but he's still young and learning as well
& yeah Early needs some minutes
Melo cant keep playing wreckless in the 4th tho...hmm

Fisher actually made some good adjustments this game but they were overshadowed by his awful rotation

caldo and sasha are really hurting this team. their minutes need to go to dwill, grant, and gallo. thomas isnt bad considering how many minutes he plays, but i would rather see early out there. its hard to develop if you dont get PT.
i'll admit it...i was really against the KP pick, but hes proved me wrong so far. he isnt the soft euro that i thought would ride the bench for his first couple of seasons. he looks like he belongs in the L. just like everyone said, his body is gonna need to mature, but he'll be aight. the knicks just cant rush him.

everyone knows how capable porzingis is of making his jumpshots. thats probably the one part of his game thats above average. its just that he hasnt caught his stride yet. but once he does, and starts swishing consistently, his whole games gonna open up. i like that he realizes his J isnt falling, so hes being aggressive in other aspects of his game. crashing the boards whenever a shot goes up isn't easy to be taught, its really more of an instinct.

if arron is not playing anytime soon we need to take a risk on grant gallo backcourt and see what happens... the backcourt starting 5 sucks.... robin is good on both ends of the floor and kp is doing better than expected for a rookie and melos game will come along not really worried about him... melo hasnt played in months so i will give him a break... he does need to get back into basketball shape... im really contemplating going to this lakers game... my only regret is if i go and actually buy tickets they better win or else i will feel cheated
