I'm ready to say I was wrong about Porzingis. He's the real deal. Kid has been balling every game for us. I've seen enough. Rebounding, hustle, defense and offense. He's been great for us so far. I was wrong, don't remember the guy's name that writes 10 paragraphs at a time. I still don't like drafting foreign players, seen too many piles of **** come out of those picks but I was wrong about this one.

Not everyone can admit when they were wrong. Respect

The funny thing is even DraftExpress thought KP would take a while to develop. Said that he wasn't the toughest guy around and tends to get pushed around in the paint. He didn't put up good rebounding numbers either.

Of course only being able to see a few games you'll only see so much but all of this we are seeing now is someone who's doing everything he can to work on his flaws and prove people wrong. He's got a lot of heart. He's fighting for boards in the paint and even posting up more frequently.

Kristaps nice , y'all got a good one :pimp:

N how Grant been looking ? I know he's at least better than D russell

The nice part is that he HASN'T developed and what we're getting is better than I expected. At 20 he's still gonna stronger and better.

I lost it when he hit that dream shake :wow: :pimp:

I still remember the boo's when he got drafted, but we boo everybody we draft

At this point, the booing is just tradition to me.

We've been booing draft picks for as long as I can remember. I was worried when we drafted a foreigner, because if he ended up not being great it would feel even worse. After watching film of him I was on board. Seeing someone that big move that fluidly blew my mind.

No one expected him to be doing what he's been doing so far, though. I'm trying my best to not get too excited, because we've been high on guys before who never panned out, but I feel like this is above and beyond someone like Channing Frye or David Lee.

missed tha game last night. was reading this thread and twitter. tried catching the replay, but fell asleep last night. i can't win. gonna try and catch the replay again today

The other thing about the Knicks not sure if Phil will change this but once we develop players we usually trade them away to get "stars" that dont pan out and we are back to where we are now. I was assuming KP would take 3 years to get to where he is now and by that point we would trade him for an older Chris Paul type player then watch him be a great player somewhere else.

Wait till Fish brings her court side. He's gonna be so worried about looking good he'll leave Melo on the bench trying to flex.

I think Phil has shown us this past offseason that he isn't so willing to give everything for a "star player".

I just hope he doesnt get pressure to win now and the front office is willing to wait. He deserves that much given his track record i hope.
