i agree the rotations need to be cut especially down the stretch need to get some consistency going and some continuity...i think we should play 10 players max...

jose/grant
arron/gallo
melo/dwill
kp/o quinn
robin/serapin

still dont see what lance brings besides defense and effort... his offensive game is inconsistent and same exact thing with lou who also shouldnt be playing.... sasha shouldnt play at all and early should get some spot minutes here and there but not much... would give majority of the bench minutes to grant, gallo and serapin...dwill needs to step up he hasnt played well in a while

Melo is trash.

Trade him and build around KP because he is the future.

Don't build a team with Melo (superstar) AND KP (potential superstar). That wouldn't make any sense now would it?

::end sarcasm::

what free agents are we gonna be targeting this summer? (don't say KD)

as long as we're competitive all season & KP continues to show promise i think we can lure some guys to NY.

we should look at Pau this summer (yeah he's old but still playing a big role as a highly skilled big man)
Al Horford (probably will stay in ATL)
Dwight? But I'd say no cause he's regressed n still goofy
y'all think Harrison Barnes stay with the warriors? They got a lot of people to pay...if not him then Iguodala (eh goo dollar according to Clyde  )
Grieves Vasquez would be a cool Calderon replacement

We need another SG I think. A legit third option because I don't think Arron is gonna be that guy going forward. Need another shot maker/creator. Calderon gets phased out, Galloway comes off the bench as the combo guard gawd in his spot. Grant should be the starter by then. Arron comes off the bench with him, New SG gets all the starter love.

Afflalo a good fundamental SG as a third option behind Melo & KP imo and he's still young which is good...as of right now Grant has a lot of work to do til he becomes a starter, gotta find out how to find his spots, reduce turnovers, control pace of game...and actually not hesitate shooting when he's open. He shows promise but has ALOT of learning to do...im not looking for him to start til maybe next season.

I can't wait to see how the team continues to build though...I think Phil is trying to build a team with 2 7 footers(Bynum and Pau, a feature scorer in Melo and a PG who can control the pace, offense and not turn the ball over more so...

I agree, Grant starting is for next season I should've clarified that. I like Arron too but I think towards the future he'd actually be even more impactful as another 6th man type.

dudes already giving up on robin lopez :smh:

We need a all star caliber PG that can help KP reach that next level. Grant isnt that guy. Eric Gordon is gonna get paid too, but if he can be had for cheap he'd be the perfect 6th man.

Isn't DeRozan a FA this coming year?

Afflalo as a 6th man is dope but if we got a
Robin Lopez is my guy.
Same. He needs to work on his passing though...too many turnovers caused by lazy passing / not being aware from him...probably why he hasn't played as much minutes yet

Fun fact:
No Knicks player this season averages over 2 turnovers a game. :pimp:
Melo & RoLo are tied at 1.9
KP at 1.6
Grant at 1.4
KOQ at 1.1

Which reminds me that KOQ has had some bad turnovers his first couple of games (mostly stepping out of bounds & traveling)....could be a reason why he's not playing as many minutes either
