I feel like this team can go out and beat anyone on a nightly basis...maybe not the Warriors [emoji]128517[/emoji]

We are honestly looking like a top 4 seed atm. It doesn't matter about their coaching situation, we just beat a team that was in the conference finals last season on their court. Lets smash the Heat and turn more haters into believers

Knicks defense with Porzingis on the floor: 4th. Knicks defense with Porzingis on the bench: 23rd.

Two players have had a stat line of 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 blocks at the age of 20 or younger: Shaquille O’Neal & Kristaps Porzingis.

Wow what a great win. Mello was getting dogged all game by the stripes on both ends. Especially in the second half when he had the ball. I'm glad he came through despite this during the last few minutes. KP is unreal, I'm so happy we have him. And I'm glad we beat Houston, they are a bunch of bozos, with that too Harrell and his 5 minutes playing dirty like he did his whole career on Louisville. He is a piece of crap and I'm happy to see him and that overrated team from Houston get beat.

Will say this about NYK going forward. Build and sustain. No short cuts and quick fixes that are prone to big market teams.

EDIT:

Porzingis FINALLY seeing some extended minutes at the 5 tonight was a joy to see. Word to me writing about that **** many times dating back to even before the draft. Your 7'3 and athletic; in today's small ball, space the floor, run and gun, shoot the 3 NBA, you are a ******* center. Tyson "Chicken Legs" Chandler won a DPOY and anchored a championship team at center, I dont wanna hear any **** about him being too skinny.

Porzingis' ceiling is not becoming the next Dirk. He wont be the next Dirk. The real value of Porzingis' potential lies in him being a ******* 7'3 player who can anchor a team's scoring, space the floor, run the floor, while also hitting the boards and defending the rim. Not that he is there yet by any means. But IF he does get there, I can confidently say that is something we have pretty much never seen in the NBA before and one of the major reasons I wanted Phil to take a flier on him on draft night as opposed to an overrated one dimensional bigger name like Okafor, who would have set this team back a decade...

Especially in today's NBA, where the 2 most important components are arguably shooting and protecting the rim from attacking guards. Porzingis can do both and even if Rolo still needs to hold down the starting 5 spot right now, and he has been very good in his own right, we should see more Kristaps at 5 with Melo at the 4. And as expected it benefited the both of them tremendously down the stretch.

But enough analyzing for now, enjoy the back to back Ws and 4 game streak

I NEVER venture into another team's season threads but I gotta say from the tape I've seen of Porzingis pre draft I knew he would be the ******* TRUTH. Can't believe he got the boo's that he got on draft day. :smh:

Knicks fans boo everybody. Even KP acknowledges this, don't think he wants the pity party everyone is trying to give him cause he's playing above what everyone expected him to. It might be stupid as **** but what do u expect from probably the worst drafting franchise in the NBA

As someone who was on record saying I wanted Kristaps before the draft, I was smiling from ear to ear when the Boos came in. I knew they were coming and not only did I expect them, but it was one of the reasons I wanted the Knicks to take him. He wouldnt be where he is now without the Boos.

Knicks fans are smart and Knicks fans care about their team. When you dont play well, we will let you hear it. We dont stand and clap all ******* game like they do in OKC. But when you earn our loyalty, its real, and no place will have your back harder.

If it were up to me, every single Knicks draft pick would get Booed like Porzingis did. A real NYC greeting. Something that says, "OK you're here, you're starting from the bottom, now go out and earn our ******* respect and admiration." If that is too much to ask then that player never stood a shot in NYC to begin with, because playing for the Knicks can and will suck the life out of you.

As Ewing said, "If you don't have a tough skin... get one."
