U see the heat rotations ? That's competent coaching. Staggered lineups, one of their top 3 players on the court at all times, recognizing a talented undrafted rookie and letting him get consistent burn, scrubs riding the bench unless foul trouble or a blowout. Fisher is a ******* hack and I don't think Phil sticks with him if this season isn't a huge improvement over the last one cause that man wants to win.

i could rant about Fisher's incompetence all day

a good coach would get the most out of this average roster we have.

i want luke walton

this is a 45 win team talent wise and you know what a great coach could push 50

it's a joke the media is applauding fisher for being 1 game over .500

every night we see the same thing: the other team leaves their star player in for a few extra minutes while Fish makes a line change & we lose the lead we had or dig ourselves in a hole.

interested to see how we start tomorrow coming off a blowout loss vs a good Orlando team

the bench sucked yesterday but that was fish fault?

He stuck with them way too long and did mass subs (5 bench players on the floor) once he saw that they were all stinking it up offensively and defensively he should've pulled either Thomas or Seraphin and put back in KP who was out of the game since the 4 minute mark in the 4th. He really sucks at adjustments and that Herring tweet only makes it more clear

at the end of the day the players have to play no matter what Fisher does, but i'd rather lose with KOQ & DWill out there instead of Amundson & Seraphin

I shook my head when Fisher didn't call a timeout in the second quarter earlier. He finally called a timeout after Heat reached their first 20-point lead. Knicks players didn't score a point until 6th minute of the second quarter. :x

Hopefully Fisher learns his mistakes from last night's game.

Didn't watch the game but that is pretty terrible that he is playing guys like Seraphine an Thomas over KOQ and D-Will... :x

This aint my first fisher rant, ive already stated why i think hes trash. But another infuriating part of him isnt even his rotations or substitutions.

Its that he seems very stubborn and defensive when asked about them.

For example, last night he was asked about his rotations, and he said "using everyone has worked so far this season, it didnt work tonight".

Other times, he defended lance thomas a similar way, saying something like, well hes put in work for us before.

Then there was the sun rise sun sets quote

I understand he wants to try and revolutionize coaching by playing all men available, but who tf does he think he is?

A perfect example is KOQ. dude looks completely lost out there . Why? Youre going from 15 min one game, two dnps, then 3 minutes the next. Dont care how "professional" you are, basketballs a game of feel and you get no feel for anything when youre handled like that. Dwill in a similar vein. Youre not maximizing their talents.

Great coaches put their players in positions to succeed no matter what. If you dont think he could help that night, dont even even effing put him in the game. I would t want to come in for 4 minutes in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Thats difficult as hell man. Then youre pressing hard as hell because you dont know if you re gonna come back in . Just very sad to see

Consistency is so important and he consistently screws things up. I really believe, and so do many other knick fans , that he robbed us of a couple of wins with his antics.

Unfortunately , all i can do is complain, because he aint goin nowhere.

Exactly why I hate him the most. His character really sucks and he has this punk *** attitude like he's god's gift to coaching. Guy is unreal

Well Kerr was the first choice for a reason

Yeah you can say anyone can win with Curry and them but Kerr doesn't take an umbrella and try and turn it into a boat like Fisher does.

He puts guys in position to maximize their talent. Rolling out 5 perimeters players to stretch the floor as much as possible, P&Rs galore, playing the hot hands for extended minutes when necessary.

players win you games but coaching takes you to the next level. the Warriors could've been a 55+ win team for the next 10 years but they're not this good without Kerr.

there's a reason why the Spurs won a title with Patty Mills & Boris Diaw as major pieces: Gregg Popovich.

Didn't bother staying up late to watch the Knicks last night. How does Bosh go 2-12 on the field, but finished with 16 points and 12 FT attempts? Melo went to the line 9 times, but he needs to be going there at least 12-13 times a game. We don't even get calls in our favor at home

Fisher is still figuring things out, but unfortunately we don't have that kind of time. I think eventually Fisher will be a decent coach, but he's going to have go through his coaching growing pains.

We don't even have the kind of roster that the Heat or the Warriors have.
Y'all hyping up D-Will & KOQ like they're the saviors of NY basketball
Seriously, our roster is NOT THAT GOOD & I'm not defending Fisher but just being realistic...

Starting lineup of Caldo, Afflalo, Melo, KP & Rolo is an OKAY lineup..
Caldo is not playing defense just forcing his man to drive in the direction of a big so they can block or alter shots.
Afflalo is playing defense but he can't hold Wade & his craftiness (nobody can lol)
Rolo is not as big of a threat offensively so he doesn't command much attention and
Galloway hitting shots here and there but his defense and decision making has been below subpar

Add the rest of the Knicks team into the mix then what do you have? A bunch of MAYBE 8-10 min per game deserving role players who just go out and do what they can

Heat last night are a team of 2 HOF's...the BEST defensive center in the league at the moment
Dragic and Deng can be starters on multiple teams in the league
They have chemistry and a core that knows what its like to play winning basketball

I say this again, let Fisher figure it out because Im happy for the position the team is in right now...we are overachieving IMO (depending on Melo and a damn Rookie) to lead us to Wins every night
He's still learning to coach as a second year ( basically rookie) coach and in no way is he going to outcoach Spoelstra at this point in the season without even having the roster needed to compete

I will take an 8-7 record with a loss to a beast Heat team on the road right now....
