Lol i got a bet against my manager that they wont win more than 71 games and things weren't looking good but this gives me hope.

Not reallly but im crossing my fingers

Afflalo counting his money

why all of a sudden a 3 year deal though? instead of for the rest of the season, we gave him a 3 year deal...his contract better not be more than 4mil per.

You guys don't have cap space and used the Room Exception on Seraphin.

Which means it's a minimum deal.

Unless the structured a raise for next year. But rather unlikely due to level of interest for him previously.

Of course we'd use our room exception on Seraphin. Classic Knick move

If he shows out these last 18 games we keep him around on a minimum deal instead of losing him to free agency.

If he stinks it up it costs us nothing to let him walk.

It's actually a pretty good move. We're also aware of Phil's liking to big guards.

ehhh i dont think it was for the min. if i were wroten, i wouldnt take a min multi year deal. especially bc a few other teams were interested also. i guess we'll have to wait to see the details.

I could dig that big time.

Apparently, the reason they didn't sign him earlier was b/c they weren't sure he'd make the time b/c he wasn't familiar w/ the triangle.. According to Marc Berman.

Jimmer Freddette wins the D-League All-Star game MVP. Gets a 10-day contract from the Knicks. Barely played any substantial minutes and then get sent back to the D-League.

Wroten creates himself in 2k playing on the Knicks and proceeds to get a 3-year contract a few months later. Only in America
