Keep your head up. Good luck on your studies. Just relax and enjoy your life as much as you can. If you still feel pressure or anything, go out of town (especially country) for a whole weekend. Bring someone you can trust with you. It's always a great feeling whenever you go out of town.

Yup. Ive always said this.

If we can somehow find a way to win with Melo it's gonna feel beyond sweet, not only because we are all so hungry for the Knicks to win (it that wasnt enough) but also because Melo is such an easy dude to root for.

Especially with all the unecessary **** he constantly gets in the media unfairly labeling him as selfish and all about the $. Part of it because he finds himself as a scapegoat caught in Knicks/Dolan hate crossfire as the face of the franchise. The other part of it is that he goes against current NBA norms that were basically created by Lebron. So now he is misunderstood as selfish. When in reality, it's the norm that is selfish and ****** up. All the **** that Melo is ridiculed for (off the court) is actually true about Lebron, but he avoids those labels because he wins and winning justifies everything. :smh:

Very few things in this world I want to see more than Melo overcome this adversity, change the narrative about him, and win a championship for this city. But win or lose I can respect Melo for trying to do what he wants to do and what he feels is right and not giving up on himself and his goal when the going gets tough. Most other players in his position would have been long gone by now.

And the only argument people use to explain why Melo stayed here was the $ - when the fact is he could be making even more money had he left and banked in on the new salary cap like Lebron did, and also improve his brand by winning, which has become more important than playing in NYC (ie Lebron going back to Cleveland, LMA signing with San Antonio, etc).

@CBSSportsNBA: Rumor: Carmelo recruiting Kevin Durant 'until the cows come home,' http://t.co/AGcdCHU7Er
These dumb *** KD rumors need to stop ASAP. I hate this ****. I really do. There is 0 shot KD signs here and this is the kind of **** the NY media loves to talk about to get everyone worked up. Im over it. KD aint coming, its time to actually build a team from the inside out and forget about these stupid ******* pipe dreams. :smh:

KD is either staying in OKC or if he leaves, he is only going one place and that place is DC. DC is his hometown (which would continue the trend of "coming home" in the NBA). They offer him the weaker Eastern Conference. And most of all, they offer him a talented young roster in which he would fit PERFECTLY (best 2 players are the backcourt, need a 3). They would immediately become the favorites to win the East, if not the championship. The Knicks can offer Durant absolutely nothing better than the Wizards can, besides Melo, who plays the same ******* position as Durant. Pretty sure playing with a PG like Wall and a shooter like Beal is more attractive to Durant than coming to NYC to play with Melo.

just wanted to see what kinda reaction it'd get

according to the NBA thread & media, Knicks fans think he's coming here tho :rolleyes

Always amuses me the kind of reputation Knicks fans get around the league due to our absurd media and **** teams. :smh:

We're the most intelligent and passionate fan base in the NBA. Anybody who really knows the game would tell you that.

IF kd leaves okc, he's going to the wiz and russ will go to the lakers. we're not getting either of them guys, but if we did, russ is more likely than durachula.

Exactly. Realest dude in the NBA and that's why all his peers love him so much. It's only the media and the "fans" that talk nonsense about him.

All FACTS. I get tired of having to explain this exact same **** to all my homies/Knick haters. People just don't get it...

ehhh...

1) we don't really have anything to trade
2) we have enough bigs

i wouldnt say they SUCK, but they're all average. the good thing is that most of them are young and still have potential. i dont think seraphin, oquinn, or williams are even 25 yet.

I personally think they're good NBA bodies that can give you 15 min a night. Besides that I dont like them as players.

I really like Robin Lopez though.

We've all been there.. and sometimes the only outlet you might have is NT or Twitter. It's easier sometimes because you might not know us personally or in your regular life, so you can vent and talk about things more easily. I know I've had to do that in the past.. you just have to get things out sometimes, it's cathartic.

Keep your head up.

5 spots left for the fantasy league..

or i can make it a 12-man league if we get 7 more guys

PM me your email if interested

As I said yesterday, Knicks should DEFINITELY go after Kieff if we can get him. I like our bigs, but I would trade any one of them in a heart beat for Kieff. But yeah, I don't think it's realistic that we pull off a trade for him without trading a rookie, which I obviously would not want to do. Even Jerian.

But outside of Melo, KP, Jerian, 1st round draft picks, and also Rolo/Afflalo, I would be willing to give up anything we needed to to get Markieff.
