I think if we can get the starters to play well he will be great coming off the bench. If he is asked to play big min he will struggle

The better he plays, the more swagged out Goldilocks is
Jerian NEEDS to be out there with the starters. Caldo still has a lot to offer (word to JKidd/Priggy Smalls circa 2013), but Calderon and Vujacic is NOT an NBA backcourt. I dont think it ever was and it certainly wasnt in 2013.
Ive been saying it for awhile and want to write an article about it but even with a healthy Afflalo, Jerian/Caldo should be this team's starting backcourt. It allows us to use Caldo for his strengths (shooting, passing, IQ, intangibles/veteran leadership), but Calderon is not an NBA PG in 2015. We need to play him alongside someone like Jerian like we played Kidd/Priggioni alongside Jerian. This way Jerian could be the guy to get into the paint and create for others and guard opposing PGs. At 22 years old, he is ready.
