I like that name Godzingis.

I really never hated KP. I was a bit concerned about his development in this big city. You know NYC isn't the right place where you want to develop a foreign prospect in. I was so grateful that Phil went out and signed three solid big guys where they can take a burden off KP's shoulder plus KP can learn one or two things from them in practices.

I am following Mudiay's game. Many people said his shooting stance is broken. He has been shooting 3's well. He just needs to work on his shot selection. He still has his bad habits, flashy passes.

I didn't really want KP prior, I was all for Towns or Russell. But once he was here I said eff it, let him show and prove.
I was neither here or there after we got #4. Didn't have any strong preference since dude I really wanted would be gone by then. For a while I thought they'd pick Okafor though.

I was just salty as **** they had to go and screw themselves out of more ping pong balls by winning meaningless games at the end of the season. I'll NEVER get over that...especially if KAT pans out.

Mudiay looks great in Denver he just needs to learn to be stronger with the ball. FOH acting like he's been as bad as D-Lo.
Fam you threw a ***** fit when Zinger was picked.

Oh yes, Johnny was threatening to stop being a Knicks fans when we drafted KP. Dude went on a classic tirade, he was all in for Muddie.

Johnny I wasn't trying to be smart tho, I have no idea how Muddiay is doing - that was a legitimate question. I figured since we had so many Muddiay fans in here, y'all would be able to enlighten us  - all I know is that he almost had a triple double the other night (including turnovers) because they said it on Sportscenter

He's been fine, just tries to do too much at times which leads to turnovers. He's aggressive, makes the right reads, can finish in traffic, doesn't let his missed shots affect his game, he just tries to do too much at times which he'll learn how to scale back on with experience.

Mudiay had a pretty strong game last night for a rookie. 12 points, 10 assist. Yeah, his shot selection is terrible and he needs to learn to have more control with the ball, but the talent is def. there.

I got another question -

I know it's crazy early so all this may be moot, but their is no way I ask this question in the hell hole that is the NBA thread (half of those dudes voted for Russell to be ROY), but how has D Russell looked so far? It's been that bad?

He'll make a nice pass here and there but that's it. Slow, tentative, lacks aggression, plays things too safe, isn't this immaculate shooter everyone professed him to be. People will blame Kobe, Nick Young and Lou Williams, but in all reality, he has no one to blame but himself.

what a great feeling that would be, after the Knicks lose the pick to the Lakers - they end up having an overhyped player and we get the Rookie of the Year  :smokin

Porzingis looks really good. I'm satisfied with what I've seen and look forward to where he goes. Prob won't win ROY though because of how pathetic Philly is and the numbers Okafor will put up as the default scoring option.

I wanted

1. Mudiay
2. Russell :x
3. Zinger

Thank god LA took Russell. Not even gonna lie Mudiay looks to be everything I thought he would but the fact that zinger is developing way faster than I thought he would and looks to be a great player has me extremely happy with the pick. Also we drafted another really good player in Grant who is already our best PG. Phil did a great job man regardless of how good Mudiay becomes Zinger AND Grant > Mudiay

Yea but being on Philly and being on that terrible team could also hurt his chances of winning it to. If Zinger keeps at it, starts making some more buckets (which will come in time) and we make it to the playoffs - I'm sure that'd be considered in the voting process. Not to mention Okafor rebounds like a little girl, dude is so weak down there.

I'd put it more between Towns and Zing

Okafor is putting up 20+ shots a night just to score 20 points. Philly is gonna allow him to do whatever the hell he wants to win that award. Towns is ******* great though

yeah it's how quick Zinger has developed that I like. everyone saying he was 3 years away and made him sound like a complete project. kid can play right now, albeit not at his peak, but at a serviceable level. just needs melo to stop sitting on his face.

Stephen A Smith is a ******* hater and dare I say a racist. They had Ja Rule (srs) up there and he was raving about zingers development and saying that our season is predicated on how much he develops and from looks of it he feels we could win 35 games. SAS then starts chastising him about how he's frail and he won't be a factor for another few years just totally coming at his neck likes he's the ultimate scrub. I know for a fact if he was the same player but black non of that hating **** would be coming out his mouth.

dude put up a damn double double against the spurs, that's all that needs to be said about where zinger is right now.

When the hell did Kristaps become 7'3?

Back during the summer, all the pre-draft reports had him at 7'. Did he really grow 3 inches before the season? He looks ******* huge out there.

Said it before, I'll say it now. SAS is a **** boy

Saw a couple of Laker games recently and he's been a disappointment. Clarkson is playing much better than he is. Part of it could be playing with Kobe or the fact that Randle is more ball dominant than him.

It's still pretty early though. I'd wait a few months before I can pass judgement.

7"1 is his natural height. I think he did grow one inch.

In Europe, their measurement comes without shoes.

Here in America, we measure people's heights with shoes.

I wasn't too high on the Porzee pick myself, but I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. I think what's most impressive is the kids ability to get to the free throw line.

My only concern is him gaining weight to get stronger. One of his best qualities is his agility, which may be compromised if he gains weight and strength.

I don't think he needs to gain, weight, he's going to naturally get stronger as he gets older, but you don't want to put weight on him and have him start breakings feet.

Basically only Kareem and like Mark Eaton seem to be the only few guys over 7-2 who managed to stay healthy.

I think the worst thing the knicks could do is have him start packing on mass.
