Lexus is the best car brand, period.

can someone explain the "soul" thing that BMW, Audi, and Merc drivers talk about with their vehicles, as compared to with Lexus, Infiniti, and Accura
?

I dont have many nice things so I wouldnt know the difference considering ive never sat in any of the vehicles i mentioned...

"Soul" is a completely subjective measure. I think an old Nova with a gutless 6cyl, 3 speed automatic, rusty body panels and blankets over the seats has more "Soul" than most cars on the road, but I'm sure many would disagree. When most people talk about "Soul" they're referring to road feel and connectivity to the car. It's ironic so many people say BMWs have soul considering most sold are automatics, they all use drive by wire and usually have soft, numb suspensions because that's what most people want out of a daily driver.
As far as luxury cars are concerned, I was always led to believe people want a smooth, quite ride. If they care for the driving performance in addition, they'd get a sports trim or luxury performance car.

I'm assuming they're referring to the driving experience and road feel of the cars.
Driving a Lex feels like driving on a cloud or a mobile sofa. Incredibly cozy but some drivers prefer to feel engaged when they're on the road.

Lexus has been attempting to shed that label with their F series which I've heard good things about but still does not match up with it's competition.

I agree.

I drove my boy's A7 and **** just made me wanna drive faster. I drive my GS and i just wanna cruise around.

I love Lexus. Plotting on a early 2000s LS 430 in black as the daily driver. Those engines can go 400,000 miles. Timeless design.
My girl's mom had one of these when we first started talking. It was that pearl white with wood all on the inside that thing was tough.

My first car was an IS350 when I turned 16. I used to think Lexus was the **** and right up there with BMW. I wouldn't be caught dead in one now.

I honestly don't understand the allure of the older IS350s. Nice interior and all, but it seems a bit mundane. The current gen one looks a lot nicer though.

I only see females driving IS. I have been thinking about copping an NX though. Anybody in here got that?

i dunno if anyone watches "car matchmaker" on the esquire channel, but spike ferensten's friend had one of these he purchased off craigslist for $1500 & had 900,000 miles on it, so he was trying to get it to one million ..i dunno if he made it or not tho, but it still had the original transmission & engine, that's crazy!

Matt Farah (The Smoking Tire guy) picked up a 900,000 mile LS. He's trying to hit 1,000,000.

That new RX looks brolic, in a good way.

I hate the current gen RX. My moms good friend has one and that interior is LAUGHABLE. We had an 09 Venza at one point and that car in general > RX.

This new one though. :pimp:

My boy was thinking of scooping up the NX but its a little too underpowered. Interior is gorgeous though. Im a fan.
