Lexus is the best car brand, period.

B
I feel like if you're trynna stunt in a Lexus F sport you're like that dude that shows up at the gym with matching Nike dri fit and accessories but can't hoop worth a damn. Tombout you got D-1 offers but you ouchea smokin layups and bunnies.

At my gym, you just described a couple dudes who drive 328i's

I was gonna say this is BMW owners all day :lol:

we went with the TLX via Costco got about 9 thousand off msrp with the costco discount and dealer incentives..

It was either the lexus is350 or the es 350 .. the ES just looked and felt like a regular sedan nothing special for the price of 42 thousand dollars

The is350 was sweet i was in love but then the dealer was not budging on giving us a good deal.. he wanted 41 thousand for the f sport.. when we left he said ok last chance 40 thousand.. still couldnt do it.. funny thing was it was the last chance yet he was still emailing and calling if we were interested with that price haha

Then we test drove the tlx it was smoother and more quiet on the road it had all the features the lexus had plus more and it was far below msrp walked out with the black tlx sh-awd for 31 thousand..

My quesion is other than price what really makes the lexus better ?
Didn't drive a TLX but I test drove an ILX. To me, the ILX didn't feel like it was anything special. Just drove pretty.... basic. The navigation on the Lexus was a lot easier for me to follow, liked the layout of the screen better on the Lexus, and I found the dual screen on the Acura kinda.... annoying[/annoying]. All based on personal preference, of course.

Man, I love Lexus and all and looking tonget an RC but damn, that EVO X is kinda calling my name, especially knowing it's fonna be the last EVO. What to do, what to do.....

Bruh :smh:

Get the car

Well an ILX is basically a Civic ?

TLX = accord

Corrolla = camry / corolla

Es350 = Avalon

Is it just me or does the NX200 look very identical to the Rav 4 ?
and you still fork up an extra grand and a half for a navigation where the ones on our cell phone is 10x better ?
I test drove the high end camry and it felt the same as the lexus i test drove

i thought everyone knew about costco? Its the best when coming to get a car .. dealerships already have their prices negotiated so you dont need to feel like you are getting sharked by the salesman.. they often lower it also if you get 2 dealerships competing for the same car..

Okay, well we have an IS and that's basically a Camry..... What's your point? If given the option, I'd rather not use my cell phone and use the navigation that's already built into the car.

Camry is actually more like the ES.

IS doesn't really have a Toyota equivalent. Can't say it's a Corolla because the IS is RWD and has a V6 (now with I4 turbo optiona s well).

nah b i have never heard of or read of anyone buying a car from cost co until your post. i was heated af when i read it

Did they change the platforms? For a while the ES was a re-engineered Avalon. Maybe they've changed in past few years?

Both the ES and Avalon are on on the K platform which is the Camry platform. I believe the engine is also shared in some capacity.

I just copped a NX :pimp:
Just out of curiosity, why'd you pick the NX? We were looking to get an SUV and looked at the NX, RX, GX, and LX. The GX and LX are too big, so we eliminated those. The NX was really quite small for an SUV, like basically a sedan, so we're likely gonna go with the RX. The point of an SUV is for the bigger space, right?

I guess I'll be looking into getting my next car at Costco.

my point is why is it the best car and put on a pedestal if it is just an upped toyota but for the price of a high end luxury car ?

Their sedans cost as much as a mercedez/bmw/audi

Their suvs are priced like a range rover

I dont get how it is more superior i just wanted an explanation from people that own the L ... and i mentioned the nav bec he said its what stood out to him bec the navagation is good .. but would you shell out an extra $2000 that you already have on your cell phone?

the Mercedez suv is killin the game right now .. for the price of a lexus i suggest go with a real luxury brand the audis, range rover , bmw , mercedez

yeah my TLX sh-awd was priced at 42k but with costco and dealer incentive it brought it down to around 31k (also got 2 dealerships matching offers competing) i thought it was a steal so i went with it as much as i wanted the cadilac and the IS i couldnt walk from such a great deal..
