Lexus is the best car brand, period.

The first two generations of the GS used to be my dream cars as a teenager. The third generation GS is still one of my dream cars and it will be purchased in the future. In a few years they'll be really affordable on the used market and still very modern looking.

The third generation GS is very attainable now. You can find a Low mileage one for under $20K.

Yeah I'm hoping in a few years I'll be in that position. I'll still very happy with my 2001 es300. Great car.

3rd generation GS interior is trash . Lex Bubble still the best car Lexus will EVER make. Period.

The new 4th gen GS' are pretty rare to see out and about still. Because of that people ask me all the time if my 2008 3rd gen is a 2014-2015  .  Lexus cars (Especially the GS) age beautifully, even interior and technology wise.

3rd Gen GS was one of the first cars to even include a backup camera.  Its crazy that 3rd gen GS' and LS' dating back to 2006 have standard tech and features that alot of cars, even some MBs/BMWs are just recently getting as options.
third gen is very affordable now, it was ahead of it's time too with some of the features

4th gen GS are very common here in South Florida, and the new gen IS as well. Seems like everyone is leasing one or the other.

The current GS started as a 2013 not 14

So 2013+

Not Salvage title either

Had accident but repaired by certified shop with Lexus quality
If the repair was done well, thats actually a steal.   Whatever the mileage is wouldnt even matter because Lexus' run forever anyway lol

Some time ago it was involved in an accident with some damage to the front-right as a result. It had front bumper, right fender, hood and headlight replaced. Driver's and knee air bags were deployed and also had to be replaced. This sedan was repaired with all original Lexus parts by a licensed shop with extensive body repair experience. It is currently not registered. Buyer will have to register it in his state of residence, which may or may not involve some extra steps compared to registering a clean title vehicle. We can help registering it in California at buyer's request (reg. fee will apply). The owner is motivated to sell.

30,344 miles

Joint got me wanting to trade in my whip

I thought the new model GS started in 2012?

I wouldn't mind getting a 2011. Its probably one of the last sedan models to keep the smooth curves before everyone started doing aggressive fascia and body with led strips.

My mom got her GS in 2012 as a 2013 model

Cars come out before year actually starts

Last gen GS gas mileage Was HORRIBLE

2013+ much better unless 18-20hwy real world doesn't bother you

Might as well get a old *** M3 for that gas consumption

Exactly.  If the repairs were what the seller says they are, he'll have paperwork from the shop to easily back that up.  Get that inspection and flourish.  A 2013 GS with 30k at that pricepoint is damn near giving it away.  There's still some low-mileage last gen GS' going for that.

You are definitely right about that gas mileage lol.  Not that bad for the time but very mediocre.  Larger car models didnt really start debuting at that 27-30mpg mark until about 2008-2009 anyway so it wasnt bad for a luxury car at the time.  The power on it is worth it though for me(referring to the 350).  Not the fastest in the world by far, but definitely great power for a naturally aspirated V6 that entered production in 2006 lol.  The 460 V8 is even more powerful, but the extra weight kinda cancels out most of that increase.

Old M3 is an ok choice but i'd take a buttery smooth luxurious reliable yambmobile GS over an old *** Go-Kart any day

I know they weren't the main ones but it had popped airbags. That's why the price is so low. That's always a scary repair.

It is a scary repair...Dealing with salvage cars, flood and all that in the past when I used to flip cars personally I wouldn't do it unless you know cars or have connects at those dealers.

I remember my cousin copped a flood fully loaded Lex IS like he stole it but he knew someone at Lex and had them check it out. Took em a couple days and got it done. 3 years later car still running like its new. **** had 8k on the odometer :smh: :pimp: . Insurance probably wrote it off during those NJ storms when it really wasn't "flooded" but it had it on the title.

Just got myself some new headlights. I don't need a new car, this one is still perfect to me. :pimp:

Goodbye IS300. =(
I just t-boned a car that ran a red light, have it all on dashcam video too. I'm OK though. I just spent like $1000 on new tires, headlights, oil change, etc in the past 2 weeks. Gonna go cry now. =(

Got an $11K settlement check from insurance for the car. :pimp:

My wife is trying to convince me not to get an RC. As much as I would like to have one, it wouldn't practical if we're planning on having kids soon. I'm trying to convince her to switch: I drive the IS when I have the kids and she gets the RC and vice versa but she's not really feeling that idea.....

The CTs are starting to grow on me..... :nerd:
