Welp...it's over for Post Malone

What exactly is the problem with "culture vultures"? I'm white and I personally welcome any race to embrace our culture, though I'm not exactly sure what would classify as white culture. I don't see the problem here. White people don't seem to make a big deal out of it provided they're not racist.

The problem with culture vultures is that they exploit something that they are not inherently a part of for their one monetary gain. And while doing so, they offer nothing back to the community from which they profit from.

I have no problem with different creeds appreciating anyone's culture. I think that in and of itself is a great thing for humanity. Respect mines, I respect yours, we all respect one another. The problem with culture vultures is that they infringe upon something that they do not respect, and only see ways the capitalize off of.

@Colombia

I wouldn't say its the exploitation of a culture.

I think the issue comes up, when people adopt the culture and profit from it, while those in the culture don't get recognized or bashed for the same thing.

Is this dude even profiting off it though?
Most people didn't even know who he was till they came in this thread.

I think the thought is that those decision makers in the music industry are using this kid.

I had a white girl I used to be cool with call me this (the GGA version) like it was cool. I put her ahh in check real fast.

She thinks just because she dates black guys and listens to rap she can say it, meanwhile her baby daddy is a racist lol

That's a culture vulture.

Too many of these chicks in Seattle :smh:

This culture vulture talk is lightweight nonsense to me. They have to contribute to said culture? Says who? I'm sure literally every culture borrows SOMETHING from another culture. Albeit for money or entertainment, everyone pinches from the pot. That's what makes the human race great, the ability to learn and share. I swear yall be on some other stuff.

Random:how would you guys react to an albino using the n word? Would you demand pictures of his parents to make sure he's "allowed" to use it?

What does being albino have to do with anything? You can be a white albino person and a you can be a black albino person.

I really dont mind at times but some people tend to go overboard and drop it in every sentence , had this one older hispanic guy at my gym greeting me saying "N*****" "N*****" with a heavy accent , didnt bother me at first but he did it again the other day and i checked him , told him that wasnt my name and he shouldnt just go around calling people that . he apologize but i can tell it wasnt sincere since he didnt expect me to check him , next time he does it ill make sure i let the weight drop on him when he need a spot .

Man in NY everyone uses the word, not the -er but the -a...I mean it's embedded in street culture as well as in all the music we listen to. It's distributed in music for all of us to hear regardless of ethnicity, so it shouldn't be an outrage if the word is said by those it's meant to be heard by in the first place

White folks so it so awkwardly. Like sega. Lol watching too cute sega. So forced and not natural.

I am Nigerian and I've never heard my mother or father use it. My brothers and homies used to but I cut back on it. I usually say brother or basketball American. Jp but I try to say brother instead
