Houston Teen Takes Selfie With Gun, Dies

The gun blast hit Deleon Alonso Smith in the throat, CNN affiliate KPRC reported. Family members were shocked.

"It's the worst feeling in my life," Eric Douglas, the victim's uncle said.

"It's a numb feeling. It's still unbelievable," Smith's grandmother Alma Douglas told the station.

"Yesterday was my birthday and he came to wish me happy birthday, and then to hear this kind of news."

Investigator's told KPRC that Smith's cousin was in another room at the time the gun went off. The cousin told police they found the gun earlier in the day.

They're investigating.

Humans have been killing each other and themselves centuries, even millenniums before the firearm was invented ...it still comes down to birth control, some people are just not fit to create more humans for THIS society.

Gun control!?! LOL! Need social media control for these kids. Enough selfies already! Dude thought he would be cool and try to take a selfie with a gun and it backfired.

i agree birth control is a more important issue. man gun control means nothing. if someone is going to kill someone theyll find a way. im not legally allowed to have a gun but if i needed to buy one i could get one within a few hours.

Again, WHAT are you talking about? Taking guns away from law abiding citizens such as myself and others will do nothing to decrease these issues.
 
You should at least have to jump through a bunch of bureaucratic hoops & checks if you REALLY want a gun.
