I honestly feel sorry for people who don't have access to In-N-Out Burger.

I don't always go for In-N-Out when I want a burger but I still probably eat it weekly.

There's really not a more economical double cheese burger in the country.

$4.19 after tax gets you 580 calories, 32g of fat, 41g carbohydrates, 37g of protein. :pimp:

(nutritional values requires substituting spread for plan ketchup and mustard)

Wish this thread had a poll. In-N-Out is OVERRATED. After years of hearing about how great it is, I finally ate at one, and felt really let down. People were waiting in line to eat something that is no better than McDonalds...

Yeah you def posted this for attention! You know full well if you actually had that in n out burger, that it does not taste like a McDonald's burger :smh:

When doing too much goes wrong.

Fries are whatever though unless u drunk then they are fire!

Maybe he had the plain burger. The plain In N Out burger is really nothing special. But animal style burgers and fries are good.

Let's clear one thing up a McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese taste pretty damn GREAT.

In no way does it taste in anyway comparable to In N Out though. Dude for sure talking out his ***.

In and Out is must. Although its not the best burger I have ever had. IMO In and Out is one of the best drive through burger joints. Their burgers are very basic but that is the appeal about them there is nothing special about them. In and Out just makes a good solid burger at a good value that's the appeal. It is California thing and may not appeal to most people however its  just like people that swear by White Castle and Shake Shack but in a world of Mickey D's and Jack's and Wendy's. They are better options than places. All food is based on opinion and preference.

Last night I was eating a cheeseburger at this institution and I seriously started getting emotional knowing that there are people out there who don't have access to In-N-Out Burger. It's gotta be one of the biggest L's that has ever been dealt.

**** you bruh. I gotta see these posts all damn day on instagram, why do I have to see this on NT too? I'm FED UP with this ****. Delete this thread you son of a *****.

Roscoes isn't overrated but if you stay out here and have had it a lot it's not all that. For someone who rarely visits and had it, I can see the hype.

No, there's just too many better servings of chicken/waffles at least in the Bay. Most Californian's have exclusively tasted Roscoes.

There actually is
Go to farmer Browns in downtown SF
They actually have them legit thick Belgian waffles
Not that trash roscoe puts out
Or the knock off home of chicken n waffles in downtown Oakland

So what y'all saying is that Shake Shack is not for y'all broke boys

Jk

I don't eat burgers that often so I don't mind paying the premium
I'll admit, I am a broke boy, but let's be serious. The price does not justify the portion nor the quality you're getting.

To me, what makes this joint stand out is their cream gravy.
You can get the traditional syrup (or both) but maaaan that cream gravy is something else.

In and Out is :x but to be honest I've never been a burger type of guy so take my review with a grain of salt. First time I had it there was just too much going on in the burger....mad cheese and sauce for no reason, stuff was dripping everywhere. :x It tastes like vomit.

UMAMI burger>>>>>
:x

Umami is straight caca on a bun.

Umami Burger?

That $20 micro burger barely gonna provide you with enough caloric energy to calculate that 20% tip for Dante from New England rocking the man bun (obviously not an applicable scenario for the homie @nawlinsjunkie).

Love a good gourmet burger but Umami isn't it.

Barney's > any other chain in that niche.

People have told me that an In N Out burger is basically a 1 patty, less sloppy big Mac. Would this description be accurate? Is it better than a Big Mac?

My friends out west say Father's Office is good for "gourmet burgers"

Aka $$$

It's overhyped by left coasters, but it's 1000x better than a Big Mac, although their special sauce is clearly just some sort of modofied thousand island dressing. Another part of their appeal though is the way they run their company. They didn't go nationwide because they don't want to have to freeze their meat, fresh ingredients (you can see the dudes back there peeling potatoes), and they pay more than other fast food joints by a large margin. In the Dallas area, the only not West Coast locations, they pay $11 an hour which is unheard of for fast food. Similar to Target v WalMart, somehow it just does have an aura you can just breathe in and sense, of being a better, happier place.

Sometimes I want a fast food burger, sometimes I want that classic no frills open flame char, sometimes I want that specialty ****.

Don't mind paying $$$ but it better be either USDA prime or +1/3lbs
