I see the Jumpman as a directional logo like the Swoosh.

Like, for instance, how would you feel if they took the Jordan 1 and stitched the Swoosh on backwards. Its the same thing to me.

The 17s were like this originally I know, but I can't get past the 11s. I don't care what mold they make them from.

Bad comparison. The swoosh on the jordan 1 is the focal point of the shoe. Switch the swoosh and sneaker enthusiasts and casual consumers alike would take notice.

If same directional jumpmen are more important to you than the actual shape, so be it. I can't tell you not to feel a certain way. I just hope you haven't purchased any 11s 06-15.

Got them out of the box today while reorganizing my whole collection in the garage. These are really nicer than I thought. Very happy to get a pair from the stupid "draw" on SNKRS!

OG vs. Retro

My OG's still look fresh. $165 back in the days a cool $100 extra for the retro. Both are nice.

How the Zoom Air?

Zoom air is virtually identical with the '02s. XVII's all have a specific feel you feel when you walk. Only thing is the leather is slightly more synthetic. Not bad, but noticeably different if you've had originals.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like they added a bit more detail to the retro like the gold outlined lace holes.

Theres no meetups tho. Kinda kills it. I dont wanna risk a headache over shipping, cuz with my luck I always expect the worst could happen.

I might have to take my joints back to save $23

if you got them from nike, i would consider just keeping the nike pair vs saving the $23 unless you are sure that the 250 shipped will be the cheapest you can find. that generous return if DS policy could be clutch.

I got em from Sheikh, but I'm not going through the hassle. Nike is always weird about returns around my way.

Yeah that's crazy. My boys return worn shoes that they have played ball in and don't like to Nike and they take it back. You can even return stuff you washed and shrunk to Nike they never care
