Theres plenty of variety when it comes to picking teams. Why out of the millions pf players online, I've somehow managed to get promoted to division 7 and have only come across 1 other PSG squad, one Germany team, and one Manchester city. Everyone else has been Barcelona. Literally, every game I play is against Barcelona.

I hear you, and thats unfortunate, but just like last year and prior years, people will pick the best team to use online.  I don't think i've played a Barcelona yet.  Liverpool only a 4.5 star team so it opens up the competition to 4, 4.5, and 5star teams.  I've only played < 20 matches so far, and have played Everton, Chelsea, RM, ACMilan, Man Utd, Arsenal, PSG, Roma, City, Athletico Madrid, Lyon.  
 
Yeah I'm using Pool right now and I'm playing United.

Never knew 4.5 can play either up or down. I think thats the spot I'm going to stay at. All of my favorite teams are 5 star though, United, PSG, Gunners. Sucks. But whatever. I'd rather expiriment with new teams than to keep playing that bastard Pique

Just bought last night gonna spend some time today thinking ab which team to start career with I'm always Chelsea since that's my squad but wanna switch it up for FIFA.
 
Anyone having trouble with their FIFA copy not getting past the loading screen?? it wont go any further than that and I have already uninstalled the game once and it still does it
 
FUT seems Scripted as hell this year. Defense will be on and off for me. One half my marking will be tight then the next it will be loose as hell. I have a record of 11-2-8 on FUT but a 8-0 record in regular seasons. Balls bouncing to the opposition in my own goal and even conceded a total of 4 ghost goals that literally went straight through my GKs body like I have Casper in goal.

I watch how I concede goals when I lose and more than 50% of the goals I concede comes down to the AI screwing me hard. It's pretty unreal. If it continues I'm gonna stay away from FUT this year. Just a total mess. I read that EA are gonna patch the consoles soon since they've already done PC about a week ago. Hopefully they dumb down scripting. I been playing FIFA since 06, thousands and thousands of online games. The feeling when you know the game is against you is so frustrating. Will be my last FIFA if it continues because my friends have already stopped playing regularly.
 
I decided to pass because of all the ********. The demo was too sus. I game for a fun challenge, not frustration.
 
I agree fam, I have more fun playing single player games now.

After my post earlier I decided to play two more games. Won both by 1 goal each with my opponent scoring all these assisted ghost goals. Here's a pic of a 90th minute scripted goal I conceded. Clearly my defender should head this ball out right? Wrong, EA decides that my opponents player can head the ball through my defenders entire head and bend it so strong that my GK can't stop it either. Luckily I was up 4-2 and the whistle blew after he made it 4-3.

Seriously look at this though...the balls going through my defenders head.

Honestly I don't even think single player is fun. I'm judging purely off the demo on world class, but even in the past the computer just makes these OD safe passes until they get to the attacking third and then finally they give it up.

It would be cool if the cpu had variety and played like the teams they are or human opponents. But they just play safe and with no imagination, risks, or creativity.

Notice, I have the trainer turned on so you can see where I'm pressing and intending to pass... But Fifa chose to do what it always does, and decide for me...



I've missed so many passes and turned over possession countless times because the ******* game will out of nowhere decide to send the ball to a player who the pass wasn't intended for

Everything is set to manual...
 
I only play pro clubs now, but I know what you guys mean.

There have been countless times I've been running down the wings and I intend the pass for my player running in the middle of the pitch, who btw, is wide open, only for the player I'm controlling to pass the ball backwards to my defender...

I used to think I put too much power at first, but the unintended passing is too consistent. I'd barely tap triangle and I would still pass the ball to someone else.

Ridiculous.

I don't think the update fixed it either....
 
the passing is ******* pissing me off. like it was mentioned a couple posts above, ill pass to a specific guy and even look at my thumbs direction to make sure its pointed at the guy and the ball will go completely off to someone else for a turnover. so frustrating

Damn that is pretty wild if everything was set to manual.  But i know in assisted, if you fill up the meter on a pass, it'll go to the furthest teammate.

I've always wanted to go full manual controls, but i'm barely any good with assisted passing, shooting, etc.
 
This game is monkey poop. I have a decent squad I always lose 2-0 to whack teams as soon I break out my usmnt team the tables turn. This game heavily handicaps good rated squads. Nothing will ever go your way with a good rated squad. The only calls you'll get is once you finally get a break away the ref will call a foul in the backfield and be prepare to hit the post on most of your shots. The only way to score with a good rated team is to walk the ball in the goal. So much bs.

It sucks on mobile can't play underground. Game requires signal to start....FIFA 16 FTL

Even manual has turned to ishhh.
One of the main problems with this game is automated defense and extremely high pressure. With those two in hand, manual is gone forever. It used to be waaay better in the earlier FIFAs and once 12 or 13 hit it was unplayable unless your opponent was also manual. You can try semi, I do it with shooting, lob balls and crosses. Through balls every now and then if im on a FIFA rush and in good playing form.

Used to love this game because it was challenging. Now its turned into so many BS AI automated baby sitting functions that you can't even beat a casual gamer. Back then, if someone was better at the game I would get smacked and that would make me want to get better at the game. Might hang up the sticks and have this franchise collect dust like Call of Duty.

Hopefully the patch will fix all of these issues


I myself has noticed that EA has some sort of campaign against me. I had 15 shots with 8 on goal and lose to someone who only shot 3 times with 1 on target. This is a reoccurring event. No matter what I do my opponents goalie is ALWAYS having a lights out game smh.
 
This is my squad on the ps4. I can get pass division 8 my players are unresponsive. I had my goalie chest the ball into my own gaol once almost had a stroke and just about to throw my controller through the tv....

Nothing confuses me more than playing a random match in the lobbies and some is playing with Barca and they have Ronaldo on the team too

I can't pull anything good in any ultimate team packs. I get 2 for free every week and I have spent my own money and coins. Best player I yanked was Oscar smh
