Belgium Belgium yo let me get that Muller haha. I started a new job and moved and literally haven't even put an hour into Fifa 17 smh. I want to get back into FUT but I never pull any good players and have a horrible time trying to get my coins up? What do y'all usually do as far as getting coins? Just play games?

Nope. I have invested a grand total of $0 real money. But I'll also note that I am disabled and have an abundance of free time. My transfer profit is about 1.2m now from a very simple method I came up with. I always tried to get my 28 match contracts cheap at 200 but noticed many times I was outbid by people buying them for 300. I then tried mass bidding 200 on 28 match contracts and reselling them for 250 min. and 300 buyout.
It turned out to be a very successful and easy way of earning coins all day long. Most sell for 300 so that's 100 coins profit minus the EA tax. The ones that sell for only 250 are still a profit for me, so I literally can't lose coins. When you sell much more than 100 contracts a day those small profits add up rather quickly.
Note that it's not as effective atm due to all the pack openings during TOTY and cheap contracts flooding the market as a result. But that's temporary.

Also, check the prices for 84 and 83 rated players regularly on futbin.com. If they are cheap, buy some. When a SBC requiring an 84 or higher rated team pops up, those cards' prices shoot up.

Spent around $150 and packed literally all discard IFS, Griezmann, Lloris, KDB and Busquets were the only walkouts. Will be my last time spending a dime on FIFA until 18 comes out.

The pack weights are trash this year IMO. They are probably offsetting that due to them giving out so many free packs and SBCs that reward packs. I spent $60 last year and got Silva and pretty high rated cards.

Not that you should always get a TOTY if you buy packs but at least some higher rated players. I can see why people just buy coins instead.
 
Dont even get me started on Ibrahimovic's Player of the Month SBC that requires his regular card that now costs like 600-700k. **** out of here :lol:

I lost so much on my investments for it its not even funny. I invested ALL my money on high rated BPL in forms, Manchester United In Forms, In forms from his previous clubs and Forsberg's 84 rated in form card whose Swedish by the way. First time they curveballed the previous 3-4 requirements in one SBC :frown:
 
SBC another thing I don't waste my time on. I got no patience for that at all once I see the requirements

I spent 40 dollars this weekend and only got a Koke smh. Best card I got was a future prospects Sadio Mane at the beginning and I packed him on a free pack. Since then I have spent a combined 100 for nothing but trash
 
My bro in law pops in FIFA after weeks of playing The Division, unpacks his first pack and gets a TOTY Sergio Ramos :stoneface:

Not having pack luck is a *****. I spent about 100$ too :stoneface:

I have him in my La Liga squad. Considering he doesn't cost much it was a great pickup as he has been performing well for me.

5* weak foot, 4* skills, very agile, decent passing, dribbling, ...

His main downside is his lack of strength. You can push him off the ball pretty easily.
 
Think I'm gunna take a break from FIFA. I don't play online but I've been playing on legendary. I won the CL and league on it but I feel like I'm forced to play ugly. Unless the computer is pushing players forward, most of my goals come from getting down the wing and driven pass+praying.

The most rewarding type of goals are cutting in with a skilled winger and finishing or playing passes through the middle. The computer makes both nearly impossible. Cutting in and scoring is hard enough against com, but my teammates block me almost as much as the defenders. Even had an instance where I cut in today and got off a shot, but then the ball richocheted off 2 of my players before going into the back of the net.

The "come up" part was fun. Buying/selling/adjusting my team and getting creative with my formation and playing style to figure out how to win. But now that I'm done with that, I'm stocked with world class players trying to play in a fun way and it's impossible. Can't even get long shots off either.

It's like they can't find a happy medium. Some FIFAs cutting in is automatic and too easy. The wack thing about running down the flank and knocking it in the middle is the amount of luck involved with scoring which obviously subtracts from the feeling of reward. I had both the highest scoring team and best defense in the league and still am not really enjoying. It's also ridiculous how bad passing around the box is. It's like to nerf all those easy tap in goals people used to get in the past they made you completely lose control. It's either a slow motion pass that lets defenders catch up, or a wild driven pass from close range.

I feel like it's been a while since I've been happy with the quality of a footy game. I'll still play them because I love the genre though.

17 is good but not as good as last year imo. 18 better have some new **** cause i'm ready to move on to pes.
 
I actually thought 17 was an upgrade on 16. 16 was so bad for me that I gave PES a chance. Which was the most overrated sports game I've ever played. It wasn't a sim at all with the free scoring.

17 was def an upgrade.

I just got to the premier league from efl 2. I swear FIFA takes my money I still can't afford anybody worthwhile. It's gonna be a struggle with 60 and 70 rated players :lol:. Scoring through the middle is a chore but I still manage to do it sometimes. I'm gonna start playing online more.
