Decided to try Pogba (normal card) as CM in my prem league squad but really didn't feel like his price tag is justified. I don't have the coins for his IFs but I've been playing him as CM in my premier league squad and tried him as CAM in my French hybrid squad and he wasn't really making an impression in either squad. It seems like his IFs are great given how much I see him in top players' squads but his standard card is very meh. Certainly not worth the 354k I paid for him so I sold him for 360k.

Especially considering I only paid 220k for 86 Heung-Min Sonaldo who is literally a god on the pitch.

Even in my French hybrid squad I wasn't really feeling Pogba. IF Tolisso puts in just as much work on the pitch if not more and I think I paid around 50k for him.

Decided to use some coins on completing my second formation for my French hybrid squad, a 41212-2.

Picked up 90 rated Cavani as SBC Lacazette's strike partner and gonna try out that new MOTM Germain card at CAM. Maybe try IF Ben Yedder too as CAM. I never score headers so I'm hoping Cavani will bring some change to that. It does get a bit frustrating when my friend scores header after header with his IF Giroud and Benteke against me, maybe now I can return the favor because Cavani's stats are looking great and I enjoyed using his normal card.

Keep trying fam, hope you get to 18 wins so you can requalify and continue the grind. If not continue to learn, assess your mistakes and grow. I change my DVR settings on xbox to 5 minutes so I can record and watch "film" from games where I completely wet the bed.

Weekend league is a whole type of beast, gotta out sweat the sweat and just make it to 18 wins to requalify, get the coins and packs and repeat.
 
what a rollercoaster weekend league for me.

started off 7-3 at the end of Friday. Then proceeded to lose 11 straight games. Pretty sure I lost every game except 1 or 2 on saturday

Sunday I wanna say I played about 8 or 9 games and won 2. 

So I came into today with 11 games won with 10 left. 

The FIFA gods blessed me and I was able to get the 18 wins to qualify for the next one. Had to win 4 outta the last 5. 2 straight to get to 18. 

SBC Shaarawy came up big for me, switched dybala to Striker today and man he put in work. 

I had only played about 10 games with my new Calcio A squad before starting the weekend league, so I wouldn't say I had a feel for them just yet. Should be okay now.

Hope y'all's weekend was better than mine

^^^ehhhh you did much better than me...I got up to Silver II. Winning 18 was the goal but won 11 games. I didnt finish my 40 games, I had like 10 games left. I did ok for my first time in the weekend league but I will admit that the competition is a notch higher. I consistently had strings of 2-3 wins streaks while losing like 4-5 straight. I hope da FIFA gods blesses me with good packs.

I could use some upgrades up top and maybe in the midfield. the last 10-15 games before I stopped playing, each match lost was lost by a goal so a little tweak could benefit me.

Aye if you wanna run I found my controller, and has anyone been getting their *** kicked on headers?
 
They had a free FUT mode where you played a few group stage games and the knockout stages. Was pretty easy to pack all the top players
 
Tempted to open a totw pack this week. There are only two from the starting 11 would I not want.

Also, this week's TOTW player prices have already come crashing down due to this SBC.

So if you're looking to pick someone up but thought they were too expensive, check out their prices now.

91 Cavani was nearly 300k earlier today but he's barely at 200k now. Marcos Alonso dropped to 90k too

Son's price dropped by a lot. His new IF costs about 90k less than his previous IF.

Stat comparison between 87 MOTM Son at ST with Hawk on 10 chemistry and his new IF as striker on 7 chemistry:
