Are you serious? Even though they had tumbled leather, the quality was amazing and they were all well above shoe quality standards back in 2009. They didn't have the beloved Nike Air that started 4 yes later but they were indeed a solid retro. You must have only seen photos lol.

Hahaha amazing quality? Son, come on now. Who you fooling? That was probably a low point for quality. Stiff and uncomfortable as hell and the design overall was just thrown together. That tongue. Quality white tumbled leather is closer to what was on the Nike Air Jordan III "88" or this year's Columbia/Legend Blue IV+.
 
I still say JB (and I know geraldg2309 geraldg2309 hates packs) should release the Metallic series in double packs for $300. I can't wait for a slow trickle release that takes another 5-10 years before we seem them all.

yep I had a feeling they were coming around & have been trying to move my 09's...no luck :lol:

I tried to enjoy my '09s but the way the lace holder near the toebox would bend into my toes, it was brutal. Plus, once you see what JB is capable of with OG quality, that heel and tongue become a joke.
 
I'm probably the only person on NT to say this but I've never been a fan of any of the Metallic ones.....they just to basic, I might still grab them just to add to my retro 1 OG highs
 
Just said to my self 20 mins ago dam jordan needs more navy blue 1s release those navy mettalic japan numbered to 3000 an mettalic ones from the 8s an now I get one of them so I'm happy
 
These will be purchased.

I also own Red, Green, and Purple Metallic 1s. Not a huge fan of the shape or tongue. Other than that, I have no complaints on my end.  
 
Count me in for a pair...maybe two :pimp:

Will be nice to add these again to my collection.
