I would ask for more detailed pictures. From these, the scales look fake. Ask for a picture with flash as well; older fakes don't have the 3M weaving in the toebox.

These are FAKE. You can tell from the triangles on the suede. The triangles are to sharp and perfectly cut. Authentic pairs has a slight softness on the triangle cuts, not too sharp like this one. There is also more texture on the suede on the authentic pair than this one has.
