Re-watching the ep, I peeped how when PC Principal was recapping the offensive things going on in SP he mentions dude is a white guy pretending to be Chinese

Either my memory aint the best or I haven't seen every ep. I totally missed that guy's origin

There was an entire episode dedicated to it. I can't remember which one though.

It was shown in the episode in which Butters' parents thought he had multiple personality disorder or whatever, and they sent him to this doctor, who actually had multiple personality disorder.  The episode in which he had his little feud with the Japanese dude who was opening his restaurant.

I really think the episode, going to one season a year seems to have improved the quality of the show

While PC Prinicipal and PC Brahs are funny because their over the top, a lot of people missed a lot of the nuances of the episode message.

I few of my opinions:

-It wasn't a attack against political correctness. It was more against the over zealousness of some people to not even want to hear opinions that differ from their own. Kyle going from a person wanting the PC crowd to just go away, then conceding that it is hear to stay and it maybe be useful to have around and finally giving in.

-It used the Caitlyn Jenner situation but from readin stuff on forums and talking to folk, some believe they were cosigning all the real ignorance that came out of that situation. Which it was kinda clear they were not. Kinda just pointed out how folk on the margin got labeled just because they weren't 100% behind her.

This hardly reflects how that argument went down on NT doe

-Besides maybe that Heliumclinton on women's issues, there aren't any "PC Brahs" on NT.

-It cleverly built in a new excuse for the show to show offensive material:

Before it was "it is cool, cause they make fun of everyone" now it is "Offensive imaginary, can start a dialogue" . And Kyle pointing out that in the end they didn't strike a blow for all the people talking about "too much political correctness" (the school), but instead put forward this new excuse for show's writers (Cartman) to use.

actually i think it was kind of a attack  on political correctness. what i got from it was that being overly  pc was just as ridiculous as being ignorant. look at how the pc dudes were portrayed. as over the top clowns. .

also that just cause people are forced to be tolerant of others doesnt mean they really change their mind. they just shut up about it because they dont want to hear about it. Same way people have to hide racism when things changed. People didnt stop being racist . they just had to learn to conceal it. 

i really didnt care for the episode , nor did i laugh much but  thats what i took away from it.

I think the message of the show is always on how the boys react to situations and characters.

South Park, unlike say family guy, sometimes offends to drive home a message.

Look how spot on PC principal was about the community at the beginning. And how Cartman back down from PC principal because he realized that maybe it is for the best everyone tries to be a better person.

Maybe not like who is delivering the message (an unstoppable over sensitive hivemind) but PC principal was right about a lot of stuff.

Problem is that he put everyone on edge because they felt attack about every comment they make.

At the end the town learns to accept having PC principal around because he accepts the "negative imagery". They get to have there cake and eat it too. A compromise is made

So once the writers use PC principal to acknowledge intensive **** being said by people, they have free license to insult that same group

-For example both Obama and Trump have talk about political correctness recently

Obama feels colleges have gotten to liberal and a coddling children, not exposing them to opinions that make them uncomfortable. He doesn't want folk to insulate themselves and never want hear arguments that disagree with their positions. But instead welcome those arguments, challenge them, and argue them against.

Trump just thinks about no one should get on him because of **** he says. This is how a lot of folk on here acted when the were challenged about the Caitlyn Jenner situation.

Re-watching the ep, I don't think Cartman really backed down. He really got that *** whooping but it seems at the beginning and at some point after the beating he switched things up to give Kyle what he wanted and pretend to be on his side just to show him too much of his way is just as bad as Cartman's offensiveness 24/7. To the point Kyle was the bad guy and Cartman wasn't (this has happened before).

The whole part when they motivated Eric to be like his hero Tom Brady I think was him reeling them in. Then he got a beating and I feel like he just used that to pretend he saw the errors in his ways (he's done this a bunch of times before on the show just to screw Kyle over).

I feel the end of it just blatantly told us that Cartman ended up the winner in all this. Instead of I'm offensive to everybody so it's okay, it's now I'm doing this to start a discussion, like Rusty already mentioned. Kyle basically gave in cuz he saw once again Cartman was getting what he wanted. I feel like his original plan in doing all that was to get the pc bros to snap and reveal their inner hatred.

With that in mind she has the highest potential this season to reveal something very weird about her.
