Eventually, this stupid broken system we have in this country has to evolve into something else. I just don't know how or what it will turn into.

Hopefully, 30 years from now, it'll be fine and dandy and everybody will realize and accept how crappy the baby boomer generation is.
 
Mehh....for some reason i see one of these videos pop up on WSHH every week..... it kinda seems to me like one of those bumper stickers that try to remind me that Jesus is coming any minute now.
I can def tell you one thing tho....IF and when the **** hits the fan...99% of the population in this country will not know what to do , with "prep" videos and all.

At the post office I supervise a lot of folks from 40-70 years old and they are some grown *** children i swear.
 
Meh.  If it happens, it happens.  If not....cool.  

I'll be over here continuing to not live in fear.  

Is Jesus coming back soon, too?  
 
There has been a lot of talk in financial circles and amongst learned economists that the end of 2015 through 2016 will be another economic recession worse than the previous one. The sovereign debt crisis is about to come to a head and its gonna drag on the world economy. Interest rates should be raised by the end of the year and the debt ceiling talks are starting up again for October. I think some people have found some corresponding religious dates and are trying to pass of the coming economic reality as some sort of prophecy. Computers and smart people see these things coming nowadays. There are actually valid, educated reasons why all this is happening, it's not just some youtube craziness.

Who brought up religion?
I am anti abortion tho and feel the government shouldnt fund the termination of innocent life,

I hope nothing happens and nothing changes, but I wont be shocked if it does. The system been broken.

I'm not against freedom of choice, but it's kinda funny how people have to pay for the decisions they decided to make whether they decide to abort or not.

And though there's supposed to be a separation of church and state, it's kind of hard when some of the founding principles and laws were derived from religion.
 
I think all of this is from years of bad mistakes to make a quick buck at the expense of the people who drive the economy and mistrust is certain entities. That on top of selfishness and the fact that you can get a seat in office and pretty much be there for life.
 
Government doesn't "fund" abortions. Read title x, it does allow it for extreme cases, rape, incest or to protect the life of the mother.

Why ? Becuase they provide low income and impoverished people means to life plan by educating on contraceptives aswell as free well womens exams that can include breast exams?

Its a women right to choose her life how she wants to.

No, because the founder is a racist ***** who deals subscribes to eugenics. She was
the female version of Hitler (in term of ideals.)Thats why I hate PP.
There are other orgs, and med facilities that perform the same function as PP. ( My personal
stance is not supportive of them either, but I dont feel that same hatred for them as PP)

Yea, it doesn't fund abortions per se, just an indirect causality of the funding. I'm all for it for the cases of rape, health, incest, and other extreme circumstances but people running non-profits are worse than these corporate people sometimes when it comes to money.

I wonder how long it will be before the "Millennial" generation is in charge and some of their ideologies start to shape America. We're still living in a Boomer America and it is low key bad.

And I wonder how much of this ordeal w/ Obama wanting to accept the 10k Syrian Refugees will play into everything. How do they plan on funding their stay? How long do they get to stay? Are they given access to jobs that nationals and non-nationals already here have access to?

First let me start by saying that I am 23. 

As an employee, I didn't always follow the rules. 

I might whip out my cell phone while working,

move more equipment at a time than safety rules allowed so i could finish faster,

I might clock in 2 minutes early and leave 2 minutes early to beat the line.

Save my lunch til the end of my shift and other little stuff like that.

HOWEVER,

I came to work to do my job.

I stayed ahead of my work.

I frequently picked up everyones slack.

I wasn't there to be socialize, negatively or positively.

I took one day off in nearly 3 years (to see the president speak!). Extremely rare that i have ever been late.

I understood that I had to work with everyone and didn't let other people affect my work ethic

I voiced my opinions but didn't openly complain or nag.

THAT SAID.

Working for the postal service means a union protects and fights for your job. This has gone to the extreme in my workplace. Lots of baby boomers have been with the postal service for 25+ years. Many over 35 years and a few as many as 40 or 45 years. 

First issue is their attitude. They don't like being told what to do or that the way they are doing something is wrong. They are so prideful that they would rather make their job and everyone elses harder to do than admit that you know a better or smarter way to do something.  This is at every professional level Management, supervisory, and craft....They equate time with intelligence and many refuse to accept that the world has evolved since the "good ol days" and that their methods hinder progress. It doesn't surprise me that congress makes seemingly stupid decisions or complicates simple courses of action. It's a prideful can't tell me nothing attitude they have. Many have poor personal habits also. Health, drinking, gambling, drugs spending, family relations. they make poor decisions outside of work that seep into the workplace with them.

Second is work ethic. Everyone in the world is lazy to some extent. it's human nature to want to save energy and preserve oneself. But baby boomers? they want something for nothing. they come to work slacking off as much as you'll allow, unafraid of losing their job, demanding respect and pay. And I don't just mean hourly wages either. They want overtime. They want settlements for filing petty grievances when they are asked to do anything that deviates from what they think their role is. They are bitter and don't like to work as a team. The only time they communicate with each other is to complain. They really have no sense of obligation outside themselves. If they bring the entire operation to failure.. they don't care as long as they get paid. This is the same peer group that occupies CEO and mangement positions and senate seats that make decisions for the country that only benefit themselves. They are not public servants but self servants in public office. Once again they think at this point in their life, they DESERVE it. They put in their time and now they're done. Regardless of how long they plan to stick around before retiring. They only care about the next man when it seems like he's getting more or treated better than them. Then they come whine about what so and so is doing. Until their generation is gone from power, nothing will change. They just generally suck.

Of course its dangerous too generalize. Not all of them. Like any generation education level makes a huge difference. I've talked to some older big wigs in the post office who offered very sound wisdom and advice for someone who's still young like myself to be successful. Some are very intelligent and have the years of experience to back it up.
