2015-2016 Fall & Winter Jacket thread

the problem i have with jcrew is the fit...they seem to be suited to fit old average shaped men.

ima athletic build and all of their clothes seem to drape over me and just a little big on me.

I know you are a tall dude how in the hell do you size these up? Last time I tried a levis denim jacket on it didn't fit, could've been a skinny version but still the shoulders was extra smedium on me. :smh:

i have a classic black overcoat that i can throw on in any occasion dressed up or down...like so
im in search of grey overcoat with the same silhouette but maybe a check pattern and a navy wool mac

a pea coat, classic overcoat, grey blazer, navy blazer, leather bomber, and cotton bomber are pretty much my rotation for the winter.
i hate bulky and puffy jackets

imo there are certain timeless menswear staples that every man should eventually have hanging in their closet like a wool overcoat (pea coat, mac, single or double breasted overcoat), navy or grey blazer, leather jacket, and maybe a parka or duffle coat.  simple pieces that don't go unnoticed.

If you find a tan one like that post it fam. Seen a few people with them long tan coats and they are fresh af! :pimp:

Levis is weird like the fits are all ****** up lol.
I have 3 denim jackets all lg but fit different

Ioknow i got a levis store near me so im just gonna try on the black styles til i get a good fit

Aight I'm glad it just wasn't me that noticed that. Might just get a big & tall size if they ever make that with the Sherpa.

What are your stats?
im 5'10 175....i work out a lot but i have a slimmer frame. my delts are pretty big but my frame is slim and my waist is like 30'.

i find that american brands fit me but not how european or asian brands fit me.

What the hell is all these "jackets" yall posting? The joints yall posting cant even keep us New yorkers warm in spring. Can my NY ****** post up some real jackets that we can actually wear this winter?

Shearling lambskin jackets are as warm as it gets for winter, but here are a couple down filled parkas that I wear when it snows. The coyote fur trim keeps everything out of my eyes.

Everyone is different. I'm from Boston and can wear a sweater with a Penfield shell as the top layer and be fine on the coldest of days.

some people just deal with the elements better than others.
