I recently drove past a cemetery around my way and man there was a lot of stops lol. I thought Niantic had removed all of the stops/gyms in "sensitive locations" like cemeterys, hospitals, etc.
I know they took out like 5 stops and a gym from a hospital near me, and then outta nowhere they put in a new gym at different location than the one they took away

There's two stops and a gym at a cemetery near my work, lol. I go there about once a week.
Just downloaded the update. Buddy system is lit... can't wait to get more candies for my charmander. I've only seen two so far, and neither were wild. 14 candies down, 111 to go. Sure hope he "finds" some candies (or I hatch more charmander eggs) or else it's gonna be 333 km (207 miles!) to Charizard
But I'm not complaining- this is MUCH better than nothing
Supposedly you can earn more than 1 candy.Is it just 1 candy per walk? That'll put me at 80 km to get enough for a Charziard/Venasaur
Also, for the starters it's 3km for the buddy system reward rather than the 5km for Lapras:

do the pokemon actually find random candies on top of the candy youre gonna get for the set distance you gotta walk? or do they "find" a candy after youve walked either 1km 3km or 5km depending on your mon.

Apparently it's a gradual rollout. Not everyone will get it at the same time.

It might still be since what they decoded talked about the mon walking or flying or sitting on someones shoulder and had different sizes.
Maybe they tested it and having an extra mon there might prevent people from quickly tapping on the mons they want to capture or there are dumb enough to confuse the mon they're waling to a new mon and complain why they can't click on it

I have to use that method to manually download every update anyway, since my phone is too old and the Google Play store restricts me from downloading it
