Alright, NT fam. School me on how to best dodge attacks during gym battles. I feel like my dodges aren't very well-timed, and that's something I want to get better at.

I'd say moveset at the moment but try to keep the ones that are at least decent IVs, I pretty much automatically transfer if it says "it won't make much headway."

swipe when you see the flash animation

even if you dodge though it seems you still get some damage even if it says on the screen "dodged"

When you first enter a battle, the gym pokemon is going to use 2 attacks back to back, so dodge those when you start. Then, depending on your pokemon's attack speed, you can figure out how many times you can "tap" before swiping to dodge (ie. If I'm using a vaporeon against a flareon and flareon attacks once, I can get 2-3 water guns in before I need to dodge Flareon's attack again). And like RFX mentioned, you want to swipe when you see the yellow flash animation, not when the actual animation occurs. You also take 25% of the damage even when you dodge, so sometimes it's best to just take the normal attacks and only dodge the charged ones. This way, you can kill the pokemon faster as well as take less damage in some cases because when you dodge every attack, you're essentially taking more damage over time (and wasting time) and the gym pokemon can have a chance to use 2-3 charge attacks instead of 1 depending on how fast/slow you kill it. 
 
Added my mans this morning. The mons have been lit lately. They must have added more in my area cuz I've caught more stuff I've never seen before in the last 2 days than since the game came out!

Also, I had my first Electabuzz run on me today. Was CP1300+ too... Now I'm 99/100.

But at least I dropped defenders in 6 different Lvl 5+ gyms and I hit Level 25. 
 
Supposely they fixed the low IV spawns for wild starters and nest mons
All wildf mons seems to have random IV now.

The bad news is that finding good eevees and dratinis is much more difficult

I get that when he says "natural habitat" he means their specific region (continent), but I wonder if collecting an egg in a certain a area will hatch different things. For instance, if I cop a 10k egg near the water I wonder if it will be more likely to hatch a Lapras :nerd: I seem to be hatching a bunch of BS from my 10k eggs which is consistent with the regular BS I see around town :lol:

Got me thinking that dude who asked if water Pokémon are more likely to hatch if he hatches eggs next to the water a few pages back was lightweight onto something [emoji]129300[/emoji] :lol:

I'm glad I saved my low CP, high IV Eevees. Same with Starmies- seems like half of the ones I've caught have been 87%+ IV.

I was badmouthing FastPokeMap the other day, but I have to admit it helped me find an Eevee and Exeggcute during my lunch break

Has anyone traveled overseas and been banned? I'll be in 8+ different countries from France to Japan for 2 weeks starting Monday. I'm not even sure the exact travel plans, my assistant is handling them. I don't want to get banned while I'm bouncing all over the place for work. Flying into NYC Sunday evening so will try to hit the hot spots that night then off to Paris Monday morning.

Was actually going to that machop nest last night which is also a magikarp nest to catch a karp. Omanyte (rare round these parts) pops up on the nearby so I snagged it.

I'm mad kabutops is one of the 2 Pokémon I've seen and have run away from me, pop up infront of the Apple Store near Central Park, an enormous group of people started to run towards there and I think some random lady who was photographing around the city caught a picture of me, never asked for her name or anything, lol wish I did I want to see that picture
 
How rare is seal? Saw one on fastpoke yesterday but it was a 3 min drive away and my car is in the shop. Should I have committed grand theft auto or nah?

Lol what type of question is this? It all depends on location. I'm sure I evolved multiple seals. Are you near water?

No I don't live near water or San Francisco. I've never actually seen one in the game before.
