I still don't even have a good charmander or enough candies to evolve to charmeleon. Ivysaur is my current walking buddy at 54 candies. Still no snorlax hitmonchan/lee. Idk what to do at this point. Level 29 by the way

Charmander is my buddy. I've only had a chance at two charmanders since I started playing at the end of July- one was my starter, and the other was from an egg. The egg one had much better IVs and CP, so I transferred the starter. He's not GREAT (80% IV 13-13-10), but he's acceptable and considering I'll probably never see another one (except through eggs), he'll have to work...

10k XP away from lvl 23.

2 squirtle candies until I can finally get a blastoise, but I haven't seen since yesterday, feel like it's gonna be a while til I see one lol, and no I'm not switching my abra from a squirtle just for 6km I'm already at 20km with abra

You don't lose the whole 20 km when you switch Pokemon...

About the Halloween event

Starting October 26 and lasting through November 1, you can receive way more Candies than usual. Every Pokémon you catch will award six Candies—twice the normal amount. The Professor will give you two Candies instead of one for every Pokémon you transfer to him. And your Buddy Pokémon will award Candy four times faster than they usually do. Plus, you'll get twice the Candy you'd normally get when you hatch Eggs. Walk and catch all the Pokémon you can to get your fill of Candy during this special event!

as well as increase spawn rate on Zubat, Golbat, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Drowzee, Hypno

Gotta go to catch some Magikarps then.

Just did another mass evolve was able to get 80xp could have squeezed out 2 more mons but ran out of favorites.

Was able to add these 5 to the dex, almost all with great movesets except Goro:

Halfway through level 25 now 112 caught and seen. Still have yet to find suitable starters to evolve.

I've been stuck on level 31 for about 3 weeks now. I need to get back on the grind. The mons I put in gyms are always at the bottom tier in my area.

i been grinding for a while to get to 30. just got to 29 took me a month from 28 :smh:

do u get anything for trying to keep the 20km you already walked? i have walked my magikarp almost 200km. what do i lose out on if i decide to switch buddies and reset that 200km?

Instead of it saying that you walked 200km with your buddy it will say 0km. not losing anything except that.

Yeah only time you lose something is if you are part way to getting a candy. Like if you walk 4.8 with your dratini an decide to switch buddies, you won't get that candy and the 4.8 goes away.
