Was speaking to a few relatives and found out my great grandparents who died in the 60's were from Spain. Pretty cool.


Crazy how i have been wanting to go there for years, too.

You're Dominican b, we have Spanish and black backgrounds. Some have Jewish, Polish, Turkish and or German descent from ww1 and 2.

I know, i always thought i had much older family that came from Spain and not my great grandparents that moved to DR. You'd be surprised how many ignorant dominicans there are who hate it if you say they have AA backgrounds.

I know it all too well b :lol: dudes catch feeling real quick if you confuse a dark skin Dominican for Haitian. Those are fighting words in dr not even lying. The same can be said for ricans and Cubans as well tho but modify says anything about them.

She is. Her father is baseball player Jose Offerman, born in DR. Which I'm now mind blown.
 
Now wonder Jojo had that spanish look to her. My friend thought she was Brazilian when he first saw her.
