2015 FRANKFURT AUTO SHOW 09/15-09/28 - New Production & Concept Vehicles Reveals

that alfa romeo is amazing. I love it. has a very powerful, fast look, like the gt-r has.

that hyundai is :smokin

I believe Hyundai should have made a luxury division, ala Lexus, Infiniti.

The Vision G looks super clean nonetheless.

I agree with you on both points.

I can see they've been putting in work to increase their luxury and even wining over some people, but I think at the end of the day people will still always say "well, it's just a Hyundai".

Same thing with Kia right

To be fair, Kia is still a tier below Hyundais. Hyundais the majority owners of Kia iirc.

Not sure the Kia K900 is selling too well with bad reviews all around and starting price of ~$55k.

Porsche 911 Carrera *facelift* now turboed

The facelifted Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S parted ways with their naturally aspirated boxers for the sake of an all-new, twin-turbo 3.0-litre flat-six engine. The latest iteration of the 911 embraced the forced induction tech, mainly because Porsche wanted to bring emissions down but not without the key figures looking deliciously good.

The base-spec Porsche 911 Carrera now makes 370PS (365hp) and 450Nm (332lb ft) of torque, with the Carrera S making 420PS (414hp) and 500Nm (369lb ft). Both models have now an overall increase of 20hp and 60Nm (44lb ft) when compared with their predecessors. The new engines can spin up to 7,500rpm which doesn’t sound too bad, for a turbo motor.

:smokin Love how they integrated some of the design aspects with functionality like the headlights. Sooo jealous he get's to be up close and personal with it.

Not revealed in Frankfurt but the 2016 Civic was shown in LA today.

2016 Civic

In LA, the Japanese carmaker introduced the sedan model that will kick off the range later this year, followed by a coupe, high-performance Si models, the aforementioned 5-door hatchback, and another first for the US market, a Civic Type R model to rival the Ford Focus RS. The latter is believed to carry a version of the European model's (built in Ohio) 306hp 2.0-liter turbo four.

Honda didn't give us much information on the new Civic's two engines. There's a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated, VTEC four-cylinder as well as the first turbocharged Honda mill to come to the US, a 1.5-liter four. There will also be a pair of continuously variable transmissions. That, though, is just the stuff made in North America. We expect Honda to flesh out the powertrain lineup – including, we hope, a manual gearbox – at the big drive program, slated for later this month.

My goodness how many times has the Civic been redesigned the past 7 years?

I have an 08 Si coupe (IMO this year was the last great gen for the sedan and coupe Si's aesthetically) and I swear thats probably the 4th time its been redesigned.

I kinda like the new civic. Looks better than the redesigned prius. It also has a more luxurious look to it, but knowing Honda the LX model will be trash.

Honda been wack for a long time to me. All their cars now look like rental cars, like American cars in the 80's and 90's. Nothing sporty or fun about anything they make and they're terribly overpriced.

Price tag on that Porsche?

I'm really liking the F pace.  Already built one on their site.  65k for the S edition how id want it

an i agree witht he guy who said hyundai shouldve made a luxury division dept or hell even changed their logo and name like total rebrand but they have def stepped up big time

im diggin the new land rover discovery and yea it does look a lot like a RR, i bet itll do good and the F Pace Jag

i like the c coupe a lot and yes it does look a like like the big boy S coupe, again, i think it will do great

and porsche...............yea porsche i love the brand period, some think they are boring but they are timeless to me and are great cars. i still like even with the subtle upgrades to looks everytime

Yeah, Porsches (specifically 911s) are classics. Changes might be minor but it also means it ages well so the car is for keeps. Probably one of the main reasons I haven't taken the plunge on the 911 camp yet, it's probably one vehicle I could settle on and own forever. Other reason is I'm probably gon' want a Turbo or Turbo S. :D

More pics of the E-Porsche
