Could Ready To Die have been sequenced better?

Top 15 Rozay tracks vs Top 15 Big Tracks, the nod would go to Ross. Dead serious.

Overall I was fine with how it flowed song to song but I get your criticism. Sometimes I would rearrange how the album would play.

It's not always content of the song that matters but the feel of the song with each track which just mesh better. Unless the intent was to have two wildly different sounds back to back and so on.

Ross is better than Big at this point
In a thread like this with a specific topic you can see who the clowns are seeking attention :smh:

It's ****** that don't believe in God that voice their opinion but I can't believe Ross is better than Big? Just because you grew up worshipping the ***** doesn't mean everybody else did

Cats say anything these days.

As it has already been noted, Ross has zero classic albums. SMH at dudes getting a personal classic mixed up with a tried and true, timeless classic.

BIG wasn't half the MC on RTD that he was on LAD.

The ONLY song on LAD I could live without is "Another" but even hearing BIG sing is worth it at times.

After listening to them lastnight I was gonna make a thread about how much BETTER he had gotten. He was a GREAT MC on RTD, don't get me wrong, he was GODly on LAD. No one has improved that much between albums IMO.
Preach Bruh! But i could do without Nasty on LAD

Says the guy with a Gunplay avy.

Lol what does that have to do with anything though? Gunplay > Lil Cease

I get some of y'all cats from Brooklyn/New York so BIG walked on water and died for y'all sins. That's cool I respect your opinion and the nostalgia it gives you...But ****** like Master Zik Master Zik not gone be talking crazy to me because I don't feel the same way. I'm not from New York so I can look at it from an unbiased standpoint. 2 albums don't make you GOAT or anywhere near it...idc how good you were. At the end of the day, it's just wasted potential.

Deeper than Rap is a classic period...Big has 1 classic as well. Life after death> Deeper than rap most definitely...But overall Ross' catalog is better than Big's. Quality with Quantity..Big just had Quality.

1. I've never heard anyone call any Ross album a classic in real life.

2. Big has 2 classics.

3. LAD > any Ross album.

4. Ross has no classic albums. So all that quantity is just wasted potential.

You're biggin up Ross and you have his weed carrier as your avy. I sense an agenda.
That would be like me havin Cease as my avy.

But let me breakdown this outlandish point your attempting to make. You're taking what Ross has done in the 18 years in which BIG has been gone to now claim that he's better, your argument stands on no SOLID ground whatsoever, and in reality the burden of proof lies with you. You have yet to PROVE why Rick Ross is better than BIG.
Ross has had the benefit of studying BIG and his style, hangin out with Diddy, Jay-Z, Foxy Brown etc, it's quite obvious he wants to be BIG in some respects all the way back to his "Boss" video with T-Pain, or his speed boat scene in that one video. He's studied BIG blueprint, but he can't quite recreate the GREATNESS BIG posessed.

He's chasing what BIG did in 97 and still can't **** with it. BIG was crowned while he was alive, you've neglected to acknowledge that. Meanwhile Rick Ross had maybe a year where he was considered the best out of nearly 15 years of rapping professionally. He's pretty much fell off, sure "Black Dollar" is good, but it's nowhere near his work from 09-12, he needs to surpass that before he can even think about surpassing BIG.

He's a shell of his former self.

Bless your heart.

trill nimley trill nimley No agenda in place, Gunplay got bars but it has nothing to do with being signed to Rozay. It wouldn't matter if he was signed to OVO, I would still be a fan.

But back to Rozay...I don't agree that he wants to be BIG, I think he did what most artists/entertainers do, take game from the ones before them and add to it. It's not like he's a carbon copy of Biggie, they don't rap the same. The only similarities between the two are really just them both being fat, black, "fly" rappers.

Multiple flows, witty, the imagery in his lyrics, alliteration game is second to none, best ear for beats in the game. Rap is bigger than metaphors and similes . Ross has been on multiple tracks with legends from Nas to Jay to Scarface etc and held his own every time. Stamped by dudes like Diddy saying he's the Biggie of the South. If a person that was around BIG his whole career can make that claim, is my claim really that far off?

And Black Dollar is his best project since Rich Forever.

He may be the Biggie of the south.

Christopher Latore Wallace IS Biggie of EVERYWHERE.

Has ANYone come out and said Ross was BETTER than BIG? Other than you and whoever sells you the dust your smoking?

Didn't he remake "Nobody" on his second to last album? In all reality, on a larger scale Rick Ross is somewhat of an after thought in hip hop, his time came and went.

I agree with everything you said until you got to Black Dollar. Ross hasn't rapped this good since Teflon Don. Foreclosures is special.

You are definitely entitled to your opinion, the general consensus however is that your opinion is dog feces.

Nah y'all giving extra points to ****** for dying early..He dropped 2 albums. One classic. He showed out on the album most definitely. Many other people have dropped Classics...Does that automatically put them as the GOAT? You can't put a dude shooting 2/2 over the guy that shoots 9/11 from the field.
