Could Ready To Die have been sequenced better?

Why are ya feeding into this dudes clearly attention seeking behavior any further? let this God awful thread and absolutely ridiculous discussion die in peace.

First you said.

Biggie is the most overrated rapper of all time. 2 albums don't put you in the GOAT debate.

Couldn't help but notice 2Pac being #2 on your list. Or Kendrick being ahead of BIG for all intents and purposes he has 2 official albums.

Your case lacks consistency.

His case lacks a damn case.

This **** is the equivalent of dudes discussing if Mike could have won a 4th straight chip on the first go round and some dude walks in and shouts Reggie Miller was better than Mike anyway.

What's wrong with Pac being 2? He has more than enough material before and after his death to prove who he was and what he was about. Kendrick has 4 albums to me, 3/4 are classics. I don't see why you wouldn't count Section 80 and OD. All BIG has is 2 albums, 1 of them being a classic.

2Pac's last good album came out in 96.
NOTHING released since his death has HELPED his legacy.
No one is saying Pac is dope because of 'Better Dayz', 'Pac's Life' or any of those other fake albums to profit off his corpse.

How many good albums did he have in reality?

Kendrick has 4? OK.
So BIG has 3.
LAD is a double album.

How can you credit one and discredit the other? All to make a point for a COP? BIG only has ONE classic? You sound like the Mad Rapper.

Its arguable that that Makaveli album added to Pacs legacy...
That's a REAL Pac album.
While it was released posthumously, his own handwriting depicts his intentions.

They mixed up the track listing a lil, but all but 3 of the songs he intended are on there.

I'm talking about these posthumous albums, the 30 of them of pieced together vocals and producers he's never met.

Pac had tracks come off posthumous albums that are big parts of his catalog. Even without that Pac recorded 3 classic albums before he left this earth. That's 2 more than Biggie. We not about to count LAD as 2 albums bruh, that's 1 double disc album. It's about what you did while you were living, not what you could have done. Where is the body of work that puts him on this upper echelon? **** if we ranking people on what they COULD'VE done they we might as well throw Meek Mill homie Lil Snupe in the top 10 too.

What 3 classics did Pac have?

No one's talking about what BIG could've did, his legacy stands on its own without the fairy tales.

How can you talk about records important to Pac's catalog being released after his death then saying it's about what you did when you were here?

As someone who LIVED through Pac-BIG era, Pac was the biggest rapper for like 6 months then he died.

Makaveli

Big was dope but his legacy is based on one album. We can say he had one of the best rap albums of all time, but he didn't show is enough to place HIM in that high in the conversation. Not over people that have created a lot more work at high levels and are continuing to do so to this day.

Those records were still recorded while he was alive. If we wanna put it that way then BIG would have 1 album that counts, LAD came out AFTER he died if I'm not mistaken.

So why is he in YOUR top 10?

I don't get it.

You say all this about his lack of material, but out of the other 5 million rappers out there you couldn't manage to name 10 better.

Because I respect his skill and what he did while he was here, I just don't place it as high as the rest of you. LAD is arguably the best rap album of all time. He had effortless flow. Wordplay was crazy, knew how to make hits without totally switching up his style. He showed enough while he was here to be top 10, not Top 2.

All Eyez On Me would've been a good 13-15 track SINGLE disk.

There's simply too much filler.

It's actually one of his worst albums.
Most certainly not better than Makaveli, MATW, Strictly For My.

2Pacalypse now wasn't too good. That double time flow he used was interesting to say the least.

So he's ahead of KRS One, Cube and them? But not Gucci Mane?

Gucci forever stay disrespected :smh:
I mean i can understand ppl NOT having them in their top 10, hes not in mines but i can def understand others putting him in theirs. Hes a legend. And Big def has 2 classics, i know multiple ppl who have said Ready To Die is their fav hip hop album of all time

Gucci is in my top 10 b. Just the fact that everything u hear on the radio now was influenced by him. He influenced the last 5 years of music and 9x outta 10 your favorite rapper recorded with him.
Nas
Jay
Big
PAC
Cube
Em
Gucci
Rozay
