I'm intrigued by PES ever year, but their lack of licenses usually makes the decisions for me. Wish they could get ones for EPL, etc. as I'd really love to have two different football games to play. Haven't made up my mind yet for this year but may give it a go in addition to FIFA.

PES has the UEFA Champions League license that FIFA lacks though. And because there are no EPL teams in PES, it will give you an ultra realistic Champions League experience, at least the latter stages of the Champions League.

Also:

1. PES has all the EPL players with correct faces (most of them look more like the players than they do in FIFA) playing in English league teams, it just doesn't have the club names and jerseys - for example Arsenal is North London.

2. This year, PES has an edit section which allows you to create/download kits, so for all practical purposes you can have 100% correct EPL teams. Example of downloaded/imported kits that are already available:

Another great review, 9 out of 10 from Official Xbox Magazine UK, who gave PES2015 7 out of 10 last year and FIFA 15 8 ouf of 10.

I think we're dealing with a true classic here, it might become what NBA 2K11 is to basketball games.

Will definitely be getting PES, don't care if FIFA gets good reviews. Sick of all the nonsense in FIFA

Do they have a career mode and seasons mode like fifa? If so I'm in. I enjoyed the demo.

The offical soccer game for BrokeBoys.

considering I got FIFA 16 for $30 I may cop both. Still trying to find somewhere to get these option files for unlicensed teams though. :nerd:

Option files are easier to deal with on PC (it's usually a drag and drop thing). Some of the forums I've used in the past to get access to completed files are pesgaming and PESfan, but you have to wait a couple of weeks after the release date for the simple reason that it isn't konami that releases OFs (because of licensing issues).

There's a strong modding community that has been adding missing leagues/players/stadiums and updating rosters, kits, and badges for many years (in previous versions they even added extra boots and balls). The great thing is that we get very frequent OF updates throughout the year so players don't have to rely on konami patches.

Do they have a career mode and seasons mode like fifa? If so I'm in. I enjoyed the demo.

The master league is the equivalent of career mode. In earlier editions of the game (PS2 era) you could pick any team but the original roster would be replaced by fictional players and you'd start in second division. The newer editions no longer have that constraint (so you can play with any team with their original roster in their original league). You can also train national sides and take part in the equivalent of the world cup and continental competitions (from the qualifiers to the main tournament).

Did anyone on NT buy this game? Thinking bout it since i liked them demo to it a bit more than FIFA. I dont really know or care much bout soccer tho. The games are fun tho

Does PES have an equivalent to FIFA seasons online?

Really the only mode I play. Unless their manager mode is actually really good, then I can look into that as well and do my Villarreal manager mode :pimp:

I copped FIFA since Best Buy had that deal.

I'm still picking up PES when I can get it for $40 or less somehow.
