TX Muslim student arrested after bringing homemade clock to school. vol SMH

Kiera Wilmot went through the same thing and Obama didn't even call her. Where were these STEM companies offering her internships and tours at their HQ? This kid wasn't a nobody. For his father to routinely run for President in another country means that family has clout in the community. Its not a coincidence this blew up especially when CAIR got involved.

I work one street over from MacArthur. There are many prominent Muslim centers, subdivisions and business in the area. They have a very strong community in Irving.

Wait, my Guyanese and Trini folks aint black? :nerd:

Kid got a raw deal but it seem like he'll have an opportunity to be a better person for it.

Calling everyone from Guyana and Trinidad Black is a HUGE insult. Most of my family are from there and they are of Indo Caribbean background as are a good number of the populace. Like the Dominican thing, y'all need to stop telling people what they are.

Nah B

I'm from Lucia, been to Trinidad and Tobago a ton of times and got tons of Trini friends. All of themselves consider themselves black, even the mixed ones.

And most Trinidadians don't have that mixed Indian look, they look like regular darker skinned black folk

-It is the "Indian" and Syrians that don't consider themselves black

Maybe the ones in America trying to feel special do, but the locals on the island don't really be on that steez from my experience

All consider themselves Black? You're a moron because that's not true at all. I know plenty of Indo Caribbeans that don't refer to themselves as that. They're very in tune with their heritage in addition to the Caribbeans. **** outta here. Tell me more since you know everything.

Man I was with my boy from Trinidad and while he was in the states we went to this trini spot for lunch and the lady was Indian and she was rude af to him. He's half Japanese but doesn't really look it. He's dark with dreads past his ***. She starts talking about "you're trini come party with white people" he's like you're Indian and we walked out.

He said a lot of the Syrians and Indians get on some other stuff there and apparently here too.

Man shut the hell up

You the one that painted the entire people. I even ended my comment with "from my experience"

I you examples from my experience, that contradicts with yours to show you that is not universal

I even mentioned the groups that don't consider themselves black.

You know folk, I been to the damb island, and was raised in the Caribbean. But I'm moron because my experiences happen to contradict with yours

Man please :rolleyes

island newcommers always come with that bs. when that wave of east indians came some of them held on to that bs caste system, some had no problems mixing with west indians.

He knocked her up during carnival!

He used to play soccer for their national team then switched to rugby. He's filled up 3 passports and been some ROGUE places. I'm sure he's got a kid running around in every continent.

Sadly that's how it is.

I meet new relatives never heard of on every trip smh.

Getting to know somebody down there for me starts off like signing up for ancestry.com questionare.

I was partially joking about a kid on every continent. My guys takes care of his kid and he's retired from competing now since he didn't make the olympics he said he just wants to raise his kid now. His knees are done so he's on that family man tip. He's a solid father. :pimp:

Isn't there a two story one there even? Like the kfc to end all kfc's? I hear kfc is the after party after the club. I feel like Trinidad and kfc's go hand in hand because everyone reps it so hard it's hilarious

^^^ Nah, island KFCs are on point. They just care a lot about the quality of their product.

If it wasn't the public would turn their back on them in an instant.

Someone opened a Popeyes on my island and it got reject because they cut corners and it didn't taste nearly as good as the stuff up here. It got stories about how the island folk played them too

You best have your chicken game on point when you step to island folk

-But they, the fact they be one of the we spots open late at night helps too
