TX Muslim student arrested after bringing homemade clock to school. vol SMH

The zero tolerance policy that worthless, incompetent "educators" like to hide behind strikes again.

And Irving TX has a large Muslim population. Lots of Islamic centers around as well but it's still a largely white area.
 
The crazy twist would be if this clock was just a diversion and then next week he builds a "radio" that IS actually a bomb.

His father has run for President of Sudan on a number of occasions. Sudan is a state sponsor of terror. He'll be alright.

The kid was told by his teacher not to show it to anyone meaning it was a bad idea to have it in school period. Everyone doesn't know what a homemade clock looks like. If this kid was on a train in NYC and pulled this out, the train would have cleared out or someone would have tackled him.

Crazy how he said that he wasn't allowed to call his parents while he was being interrogated.....he's a minor, his parents should've been called ASAP. Clearly that's not the biggest injustice here, but pointing that out in case it goes unnoticed. They could've lied and said he admitted to it being a weapon :smh:

If a white girl brought this same thing to school I highly doubt she would be handcuffed and interrogated without being able to call her parents

Sad but true, he's a kid so he might not know any better about being discriminated for something like this.I wish his father warned him about not brining it to school. Good looks on the teacher for trying to give him the heads up.
 
Playing devils advocate here but I'm pretty sure a good majority of you, would be highly suspicious no matter the race if you saw anyone carrying what resembles that in the pic. Common B, look at that! Talking about a CLOCK. ****!

Hell the thing doesn't even look that suspicious to me. Seems like he shoplifted at Microcenter and stuffed want he stole into a struggle jewelry box
 
if those technologically deficient teachers knew what a damn arduino and raspberry pi was this wouldn't be an issue.
