Jordan Brand's quality control is a joke...

Im seriously wondering if people can sue for false advertising. Im just going to assume the mass majority of people who buy jordans are not lawyers and did not major in political science. Im about to look up false advertising laws now.

You're missing the point. I wanted these shoes more than any shoe in my entire collection. So when given one more chance to buy them from Nike, where I can get a full refund with shipping covered, I chose to gamble. Nike failed in the worst way possible, and it's completely uncalled for, especially when their promises of better craftsmanship are taken into consideration.

Vote with your wallet or shut your mouth. Free country buddy, if you aren't happy go buy some Skechers.

Problem being, someone else will still buy them, and just like you mentioned, they're likely choose not to send them back because they'll take whatever they can get. Me choosing to not buy them solves nothing other than saving myself the headache of standing up for what's right. Nike must take responsibility for deceiving its customers through false advertisement.
yes but it starts with one and if its only you then you stand for what you think is right and that in itself is better rewarding than a pair of shoes to me.

To the OP.

This is the second time you posted this topic.  You have obviously not learned your lesson.  Clearly you are on the wrong end with your relationship with Nike; it is time to move on.  Nike is not going to give what you want.  The community here largely does not have your backing.  You cannot win.  Quit the game and move on.  You will be better off.

Jordan Brand approved PR material that implied things were changing for the better...

"THE PROCESS

Every pair produced under the Retro Remaster regime will pass through over 100 sets of hands before it gets boxed up and unleashed to eager sneaker consumers at retail. As the shoes go from one step of the intricate process to the next, each person that handles them wears white cotton gloves to keep the product as pristine as possible. Whether it’s cutting materials, lining up edges, or molding the shape, everything has to be absolutely perfect before it can get the green light to move on to the next stage of production."

Sorry man. For $190, yes your shoes should not look like that. I agree. Problem is with mass produced products like this, there is no way QC can catch 100% of every single defect. Especially if they are visually inspecting them by PEOPLE, somethings gonna leak out. No one is perfect and there will be mistakes.

IMO, I think JB generally does a substantially better job with quality now than before. It's still hit or miss depending on the shoe but remember those CDP packs? Quality was atrocious.

I would suggest contacting Nike for a coupon for your irregular merchandise. That is...if you still have the desire to purchase future products from Nike.

Not all of the CDP were poor quality...... Some are actually better than what we've gotten

BTW I thought my Bordeauxs are excellent quality.  The Oreo 4's I bought are good but have a ridge or lump in the insole.
My Legend Blue/Columbia IVs are amazing quality, yet most of the VIIs released this year seem to be off somehow. It's quite strange, really...

The sample size we are judging from is ridiculously small. We gotta remember that NT is a very small part of the sneaker community. Just because there is a noticeable flaw on an NTer's pair, doesn't mean all of the same shoe has horrible quality. For every one person who has an imperfect pair, there are 1000s of more great quality pairs.

I'm 34. The production flaws I'm highlighting are much worse than glue stains, and inexcusable for products that supposedly passed quality inspection. I have three pairs of 2011 Bordeaux VII's, and none of them have production defects. Keep in mind, those were released four years before the "Remastered" initiative and $40 price hike.

youre complaining about quality, but bought three pairs of Bordeauxs?
