Funny week with a big gap again - then Christmas Eve at 7pm and Christmas Day at 5pm. Not a lot of rest before playing the Warriors. That's a short back to back. At least they're both home games.

You're right - I wondered.

It's because my calendar converts the times to local - so the Knicks game is technically on the 24th GMT - but it's the evening of the 23rd.

I did think that was weird scheduling. That solves my problem of where I was going to fit in 2 Christmas Day games which is good.

Haha gotcha.

Excited for tonight but the real excitement happens on Friday.

Remember when lots of Knicks Fans whined when Porzingis was drafted?
Phil Jackson made the right choice.

Strong game vy klove while Kyrie was off last night. But a great comeback win and nice crunchtime by Lebron.

gotta be sort of happy with the fact that the game vs. gsw was played at the cavs pace. shooting and late game free throws were an issue but otherwise, close game.

Yeah, little disappointing. Good keeping their score low and with a bit of time we'll be better - the team is barely back together so June will be a different story.

Kyrie resting tonight. Probably sensible. Another couple of weeks and he'll be back to normal.

LBJs lack of aggressiveness at times really sucks. it really allows people to give credit to whoever defends him as if they did a great job, but in reality, he defends himself by settling for long 3s w/o giving up his triple threat.

i also feel that he doesnt get ultra aggressive until its too late i.e his 2 big dunks late in the game vs. GSW on xmas.

he really needs to take his own criticism and start being more aggressive on his own. catching the ball beyond the 3 point line, jab stepping and letting the defender off the hook w/ a long contested 3 just isnt gonna cut it.

I have no clue what happened - just no movement and looked totally out of sync. Looked like an early 2014 performance. Dion Waiters would have looked right at home!

Kyrie Irving confirms he will sit out Tuesday's game against Denver. Says that'll be the last back-to-back he misses.

i agree good sir, i like that it will be the last time he rests due to back/back games, good sign

found this stat and imho it explains alot

4th Q +12.9 1st in NBA
3rd Q +9.1 6th in NBA
2nd Q +3.7 8th in NBA
1st Q -6.3 26th in NBA

any ideas why the 1st qtr poses such a prolbem so far ? diff line ups ? MOZ ? makes it tough always playin from behuind when u r trying to develop continuity and get everyobe acclimated, very tough if u ask me.

last year they were sub .500 for the month of Jan if i remember correctly

mid march this team will be unf*****g real

kinda starting to look alot like last year to me, and even though that didnt end so well, they were still only 2 games shy with a beat up line up

I LIKE THEIR CHANCES

hope everyones Christmas was cool !

ONWARD !

I agree that lebron sometimes is playing too passive in the offense and starts to attack way too late. Beginning of the 3rd quarter should be better than in the 4th. He also needs to practice his jumpshot from mid and long range. He's far away from his 2013 and 2014 offensive outputs when he was with the heat.

Ugly win but i'll take it. Good to see Kyrie getting his swagger back.

Still upset with some of these Blatt lineups, at no point we should not have least 1 of the big 3 on the floor. Also where is Mo?

Upset With How Bron has been down the stretch last few games, move the ball fam!!

Hopefully after Tuesday, 3 day break, Bron bday, we get focused again!!

Agreed...lbj is at his best when he's in full on attack mode. His mid range game is practically non existent at times.
