Wireless speaker recommendations

I'm looking for a wireless speaker to play music via my phone while I'm cleaning and doing random stuff around the house.

I want something that sounds good, (doesn't have to have the greatest sound quality in the world) looks cool and would like to stay under the 100$ price point.

Anybody recommend anything? Thanks

A great and elaborate breakdown of the best portable Bluetooth speakers.

I personally own their number one pick, I lucked out and found it on sale, but it's worth the full price. I love it, so does my brother and my mom, I got one for my brother first and as soon as I heard it.. I wanted one for myself. It gets plenty loud considering it's size. It can fill up my apartment/his house with music and at that size it's a great little speaker.

It's 90 for the black/red right now, 102 for the black/black, and 70 for the green/purple

The reason for the odd pricing is it's been replaced by a newer model

Amazon product ASIN B00YARCGQA
This one has unilateral sound, it's more rugged, and waterproof. It's got good reviews on Amazon but I haven't personally heard it. If you want/need that kind of outdoors portability, it might be a good choice.

Amazon also makes a well reviewed one as well for 50 bucks

I was a big Bose fan but I listen to the ue boom every at work(Verizon employee) so I would say that one. Plus it's on sale for 160 right now.

JBL Flip.  I had a UE MINI BOOM.. last years model.. was horrible.  I hated it.. static connection. terrible sound.  I would also avoid the Dknight dragonbox looking speakers on amazon similar issues.. i have now.  That same model has come in many different names.

The JBL Flip or the JBL Charge 2.. both are amazing.

This man knows... The flip is loud and clear and the charge is the same except it has a subwoofer... The charge battery is Brolic as af too...

^^ Im not an audiophile, but to me..it thumps. Imo they are well worth the $, especially if you cop one Amazon "used good/great" condition

Y'all know he sound under $100 right?

You could be even more specific, do you want a very small one or a bigger boombox style? Do you need any other functionality like NFC, ability to read from a usb drive or microsd card as well, rugged, waterproof, ability to charge your other devices/

Motorola Deck x Sol Republic w/ NFC and speaker- $50. I tested this one at Sam's some and liked it

For a bigger boombox style one there's this, $99.99

I prefer the BEM Wireless boombox. Sears has the nerve to be asking like $325 for them but I have seen it new on eBay for $55 and even on Amazon it's $90, check ebay for this one though

I bought this one for my neice, has a microsd card slot and fm radio so I loaded the whole collect, about 3gb of Kidz Bop + Katy Perry + Willow Smith on it and her and her friends were going HAM, probably still are, only $39.99, got the brown one. It looks like the whole thing is leather

Still weighing my options, I don't want anything too big or don't need anything portable. My house is on the small side.

NFC isn't needed nor is waterproof or anything rugged. It'd be cool to have sd card support but it won't be a deal breaker

That tdk one looks pretty promising man, thanks

Bought a SHARKK Boombox for $40 about 2 weeks ago and I'm extremely happy with it. Sounds great and I can talk on the phone with it. I was iffy at first but the reviews on it were great. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something inexpensive with quality sound.

I got a ue roll I think it's called. It's the round disk one posted above. It's cool because it's washable and loud but it has no bass. I'm about to grab the ion block rocker next and just use the ue for the bathroom or something.

I saw these on sale on Amazon for $50. The only thing is it doesn't have bass to it. But I like how it is flat and it has this thing called heist mode where you can pair 5 devices to it if you have friends that want to play their stuff on it.

Can anyone recommend one of these Bluetooth speakers that you can plub in stuff and play music?

I have an iPod classic that has all of my music I don't have any music on my phone or stuff like that.

So I really don't even need the Bluetooth either just aux input.

Google the Bose Soundlink or the Bose Soundlink Mini.

$200 for the mini and you won't need another Bluetooth portable speaker again for a while IMO. Had mine for 2 years now and I love it. Get tons of compliments on it.

It's Bose, man. Need I say more?

Btw, if anyone recommends the Beats Pill, ban them for life.

EDIT: just saw OP said under $100. I'd still recommend just saving another $100 and making an investment. I'm a musician so maybe it's different for me, but I can't stand listening to my music through crappy speakers.

That's a great price for it. It's a great little speaker for the the price and size. Something like the Bose Soundlink Color will have bigger bass, but it's also larger and more expensive.

There's a lot of great portable speakers out there, so it just depends on what you want out of yours. That article gives a great breakdown of all the top models.. but for the price and portability, I love the UE Mini Boom.
