I Need Job Ideas

I tapped out because when I was in college, a recruiter from Geico talked to me and said if I could pass the first exam, I would get an internship and pretty much be a lock for a job after graduation; making like 50K plus, entry level, which was way better than most regular ole analyst. This is all she told me

So I start studying, and a couple weeks in go up to there headquarters to watch a presentation about their Actuary program

Mannn when they started talking about the exams, I hit the recruiter wit one of these.

Hell NAW!!!
I hear ya man, it's no joke. Very in demand career and also very lucrative.

Is actuarial science that hard? and how much do they make?
Yes. It is consistently ranked in the top 3 careers in the US. How much they make all depends on what exams they have passed, for the most part.

Props b. Gonna take a shot at this. Seems interesting.
if serious feel free to message me if you have any questions or anything. You're going to need a very strong calculus and probability background to begin with.

What's your SAT and is your undergrad considered prestigious?

I have a few friends from Ivys that tutor on the side for SAT prep for rich kids and they were able to charge 100+/hour easily.

Dude I need a job. Any job. It's hard out here. I've been to 10 interviews in the past month. Just wasting gas money going back and forth to all these places. Won't even mention how many resumes I've dropped off and applications I've filled out.

You should really take your passion for the markets and try and break into financial services. Go sit for your 63 and 65 as they don't require firm sponsorship and try and get into the door in a back or middle office role.

you still mad about that 150 huh

Lol nah b I just threw that in there since ur a regular in the nba thread and I think u either vouched for him or laughed caused he pulled that **** when it first happened.

Real talk, have you ever thought of being a recruiter? You probably have great communication skills and seems to be personable. Entry-level would be probably around 45k-55k. There are a bunch of recruiting agencies to apply for. Let me know if you're interested, I got a gripe of friends in that field.
