Detroit Man Jailed For Ticket Dies In Custody

What I don't get is why incarcerate people for petty **** like this
Like it costs more to jail him
Than his $700 ticket
Why not just garnish his check for like a year to recoup the cost
Same thing with child support
Why jail a person cause they don't make payments
Ain't that risking their lively hood
U ain't getting any money while the person in jail

No doubt. I agree. It really doesn't make any sense. If police arrested people for murder, rape, and theft, most people would support them. Now we have people dying over traffic tickets and selling single cigarettes. :smh: Don't get me started on non violent drug offenders doing life bids.

It's withdrawal from Xanax, opiate withdrawals contrary to popular belief is not fatal. Either way that's messed up, they probably just thought he was drug seeking and didn't get him any medical attention.

True. I am sure that the methadone symptoms didn't help.Another possibly fatal drug to withdrawal from is alcohol. A lot of these rappers were having seizures from Xanax withdrawals. Cats out here have no idea that they are causing themselves brain damage and risking their lives.
