Chicago Bulls Season Thread 35-33 -- vs kings 3.21/3.23 vs knicks/3.24 knicks

Players have bad game bad stretches that's not why I'm frustrated he looks beyond uninterested out there. The lack of effort is killing me. Even as we're getting killed he didn't see this as a time to try something rather than standing in the corner. Is something else wrong we don't know about ?

Thing that bothers me most is his lack of effort on defense. Rose has never been a good defender but now hes not even boxing out when the shot goes up. Im with you tho, he doesnt push the ball at all. Part of the reason is he feels like he has to get the ball handed to him from the big instead of letting them make an outlet pass to get the ball up the court.

Pau's defense is beyond terrible :smh:
 
I dont at all put this game on rose, its turnovers terrible defense and **** three pt shots by the team as a whole

Noah came in and gave us defense and energy.

As far as Rose as a whole since being back. Hes rarely shown glimpses of who he was. Its not there yet at all but he has to get there eventually, hopefully.

Hopefully hes just trying to get used to everything, new players coach system and on court nba rythm which hes rarely seen in recent time. His pace is off terribly. Just hope he returns to himself by end of all star break. But of course all that is up in the air.

Getting used to? That sounds like a bad excuse. He was playing ok in playoffs. I think his eye injury makes him scared to go in 100% yet. He's not Chicago's first option in the offense anymore. Not even 2nd for the moment.
Westbrook and Curry are playing like we hoped for Rose (optimistically).

he should've been in the game mid 2nd quarter... not garbage time

he still can in & cooked

loved the swat after the whistle the second he came in.... doesn't matter were down he comes in & the game changed...like I said he should've been in ...you insert noah for some energy & the same for taj but you leave your last spark on the pine until it doesn't matter....**** was dumb...kid's debut should've been against the cavs imo

Rose isnt going anywhere at all imo, He damn sure isnt leaving Chicago, hell get a contract if hes healthy and thats that. Windhorst is an idiot.

Imo im hoping as well hes just trying to get back to his game. Just hope hes not unsure of his body, i dont blame him how can he not be but he needs to be.so hes not thinking of that in game on court,

Considering dude hasn't even came close to living up to his contract, is a major health concern, and is a divisive figure, a break-up will probably be happen once his contract expires. It's not rocket science.
 
i could also see both sides moving on. Personally im not giving him big money and i think the Bulls arent going to offer him big money unless he gets back to old form. Even then i would be hesitant to give him big money.

its time to build around Jimmy now. Just time to accept Rose is who he is now, not all his fault injuries have done it to a lot of careers
 
True. Injuries has traumatized him and forced him to change. We may never see him elite again.
