Chicago Bulls Season Thread 35-33 -- vs kings 3.21/3.23 vs knicks/3.24 knicks

KC Johnson said that the Hoiberg isn't using his system anymore (of course, we know this) but that he's using Thibs.

Hoiberg is waiting for 2016 to choose his style of players.

Holberg doesn't need to wait, we're in 2016 now. He has a solid roster. The injuries have not been a problem outside of Noah. I read on FB that they've called a players meeting, yes ANOTHER! Like most of you, I want to see them playing to their full capabilities like GS and SA, which has caught a few Ls as of late. The most important thing is that they're playing their best ball come late March, April and late into May. I still BULLieve they can pull this thing out. Hopefully Dunleavy brings it altogether.

I like the move with Moore in the starting five. Snell didn't take advantage of his opportunity. Fortunate for him he still is on the rookie deal. I don't believe there is a trade out there for them. It's up to the players and the coaches to pull this ship together. Everyone calling out Holberg, but W T F is his staff doing?

Agreed ^

They have yet to find an identity and a way to play that works for them.

If Doug is playing, run plays for him also. He can't be out there just trying to get open looks. Nah, they need to run plays for him whenever he's on the floor.

Some of the line ups are terrible! But hopefully after the All Star break, the team will focus and be engage from here on out because they're getting close to being out of the playoff seeding.

The eastern conference is gonna be a tight race and with this team not looking very confident to get a win against even the lesser of the NBA team, they don't want to slip through the seeding.

Yes, the east is much tighter this year. They definitely need to get on the good foot and solidify their place as a top four seed.

Great coaches and organizations don't tailor their team to a particular system. They cater their system to the players and talent they have.

The Bulls are simply a mess.

Rondo may be out and so is Cousins possibly.

So maybe we'll win.

question to all the bulls fans!! Instead of good ol freddy who should've the bulls gone after coach wise?? And what other moves do you think the bulls could've realistically done??

patched it up with thibs & hire pringles to run the offense

Man there was no patching up that situation. It was as toxic as it could get and was going to get even worse before it got better. Bulls hands are tied at this point. Trade value isn't high for the players on the roster and nobody really wants to come here sadly. Gasol and Noah are gone after the season and even w/ the cap going up Bulls will stand pat. Sucks, but it's the reality.

Love the optimism coming from the homie antbanks81 antbanks81

We gotta stay positive throughout this whole ordeal. It's frustrating to see some of these losses, but to be honest with everyone I'm already looking at next season and the major overhaul that will come from this team.
Gar and Pax are starting to become divided. With all the talk of this team underachieving Gar has already publicly made comments that he's not totally responsible for this roster. Which is kinda true since most of the team was built by Pax, but throwing your boss under the bus is never a good look.

While I believe that Jerry is too damn loyal to his GM's, In this scenario I believe he's more loyal to Pax who's the VP of operations. They will make Gar the scapegoat and hopefully bring in someone who is competent and will be able to sell players on coming here, and do a better job at evaluating and drafting players.
Above all I hope Pax keeps his nose outta player personnel and coaching matters and stays behind the scenes running the day to day operations of the organization.

  @ Randy Brown and Cousins jawing at each other after the game.

5 players in double digits :nthat:

Rose with 21-9-6 :nthat:
Still he starting to turn the ball over too much in the final minutes, hopefully it's just a passing phase but we don't want it to become a habit.

It's only one game but I bet it must've been nice to have Derrick running the offense.

i like mcdermotts catch and shoot. id like to see him play some in crunch time, run plays to get him open looks. as opposed to the garbage possessions we usually have.

is there anyone in the NBA who doesn't know exactly what play the bulls are going to run? high pick and roll, they read it and got their hand on the pass so many times.

these radio guys are so damn dumb

youd trade rose & jimmy for cousins :rolleyes get the **** off the air lying thru ya teeth for a ratings spike

hate the media round here

They talked about trading Rose and Jimmy for Boogie??
If they could somehow pull it out, they should keep Butler abd try to get Unibrow. The rest of the Bulls squad is expandable. Problem with Rose is no team would consider him as a good Investment because of his injury prownness and free agency coming soon.

mcw & Monroe on the block... not our cup of tea but maybe bulls see others making moves & we do also

:smh:
Who's the base head that even brought this up!?!?
I usually keep it locked in on 1000am ESPN radio while at work unless I'm out on the field.
I like to listen to Carmine and Jerko and the Waddle and Silvy show....still not sold on the Kap show.

i think MCW would be a great backup PG...better than anyone we've had in the last 5 years

i hate boogie would not give up jimmy for that fool

MCW can work wonders for us

Not a 3 point threat but he's long enough to play a Shaun livingston role.
