Chicago Bulls Season Thread 35-33 -- vs kings 3.21/3.23 vs knicks/3.24 knicks

MCW ain't coming in as a backup and I'm pretty sure the Bucks have a high asking price for him after the Knight deal backfired.

Maybe one of our big men for Monroe tho ..

What the Bucks need is a defensive rim protector. I don't know who we can give for Monroe.

Yup. MCW ain't taking a back up role.

I agree though Monroe would be the goods next to Bobby as our frontcourt.
In reality though the Bucks real value lies in GIannis and Jabari, they both can't be starting SF, one of them has to go for the other to reach they're full potential.

Come home Bari, Kidd ain't utilizing you well up north.

Yeah, I'm cool with Bari coming home. That would be nice if they're willing to give him up.

They can take our 1st round pick too.

Question for you guys

I'm trying to go to a game in 2 weeks. Haven't been in a long time used to have a hookup with a season ticket holder. And recently a guy I know got scammed on Craigslist.

Any option aside from stub hub to buy? I'm seeing 300 level for $100 is that what i gotta pay for a reg season game? :smh:

I was hoping to get 100-200 level but not for $350 a pop

Again! We not ready man...I cannot! :smh:

West coast teams stay eatin us up man plus we inconsistent as hell and this would have happened with jimmy

They should have blown this team up in the off-season stupid *** FO I was saying it as soon as they lost to the Cavs. FO never ever address the situation at 2 drafted horribly aside from Jimmy Butler. Never got any Marquee free agents and I see why. They should trade Gasoline what's the point of keeping him? Never fully address the back point guard situation. They've done little to anything right.

This FO is a Joke, the owner is a joke, this coach is a joke. I just can't take this team right now!

And we have many teens wearing Chicago Bulls apparels but many of them even dont know that they are a basketball team XD
One girl in a store said "do you have the brand Bulls?" The sales associate was almost dropping his jaw and i had to hold back not to rofl.

Scalabrine weighs in on what happened to Thibs and the Bulls player.

n Dowsett of Basketball Insiders had an interesting peek into the Bulls' locker room  in his article after the Bulls visited Utah. Dowsett suggested that some players were upset at how Thibodeau was ousted last year:
All parties outwardly insist the team remains united, but privately, it certainly feels like there is a lot of tension and fractured relationships within organization. The locker room has become divided into cliques, per Basketball Insiders sources. One group, including Rose and injured center Joakim Noah, harbors lingering resentment over the handling of ousted coach Tom Thibodeau.
Speaking of Thibs, he got a bunch of shout outs in a very funny Woj podcast with Brian Scalabrine  (way more entertaining than actually listening to Thibs on Bill Simmons' latest pod).

Scalabrine noted that Thibs didn't really get the credit he deserved for developing guys in his time with the Bulls. Here's Scal:
"Thibs makes players better than they really are. People really miss that about Thibs. They think that's management. Now management does draft people, but they don't develop players. Management is not Adrian Griffin working with Jimmy Butler. The coaching staff develops the players.
Scalabrine also commented on what he thinks went wrong last year:
"I think what happened last year in Chicago, there was a lot of undermining going on and the players wanted to take the easy way out. The easy way out is management isn't backing Thibs.... Luol Deng when he left, the Bulls got better [but] definitely took a hit from the locker room standpoint. You gotta have guys that have the coaches' back. If management is throwing guys under the bus, then players are going to take the easy way out."
Scal talks a lot more about his time with the Bulls, stories from his career, and the debacle in Golden State under Mark Jackson. It's worth a listen.

This team will never win make noise in the playoffs unless we find our identity. I wish we still had Thibs. Team would've been leading or at least be 2nd in the standings. We need to go after Miles Plumlee when he becomes a free agent to help sure up our center situation. Give guys like Mirotic and Doug more touches so we can see them really shine, instead of trading them and see them go off for other teams and we sit here saying "why didn't they do that for us" when we never really gave em the chance to do so. Our roster is deep, but we really have no proper lineups, nor do we have an identity. Today wasn't good of a saturday for me team wise. Liverpool catching L's and Chicago catching Ls. :smh: Both team's losing and drawing to some of the worse teams in their respective sport.

Doug + Niko have started at times this season and have played a lot of minutes this season. They aren't producing flat out plain and simple. Niko lost his starting spot twice this year. If he's not hitting shots he really has no purpose on the court, and he's obviously admitted he's a player who once his confidence is shot he's a waste. They are getting their chances under a new coach and not maximizing it, that's on them.

Anyways, team plays with no passion/heart/fire. This same roster minus Bobby was a 50 win team last year. Sure we fizzled out at the end and fast it seemed last year, but Thibs still got them to get up and play with fight. Not to mention last year we had way more injuries. Derrick missed 33 games, Jimmy around 16 games Dunleavy around 15 games Jo like 20.. These are all facts. And some how this year we've digressed.

The spotlight is on the FO this time. They Can't hide anymore. I didn't want Fred, but even Fred is getting played here. FO sold him a dud, they hyped this as a "new coach with this same roster is what we need to make a championship run" and they ran Thibs out. Um... Sorry Gar... No.. This team is flawed. Thibs got the best out his guys, regardless if he wasn't the easiest to get along with, that's all u ask for out a coach.

I'm just happy to see Derrick round into shape and get right. At this point, that's a win for me for this season. The rest is what it is.

They want them to sit on the perimeter and wait to shoot 3's. They aren't being utilized to the best of their abilities.

Mark my words, Rose will get hurt and be done for season very shortly. When it rains, it pours. Chalk this season up. :smh:
